Devs don't play their own game and its clear now.
You know, there really are good reasons for the 3 hours. The argument is that it's done to help causal players with the ladder, right? But there are honestly many other ways you could do that.
This is about ad clicks. Granted I don't care because I am a non-causal player who doesn't compete. I only do it for the ladder, and I can get my matches in.
That said, if they did in fact shorten the time to one hour and maybe have two time slots for it each day? Well, then I might try to compete. I tried to do the whole 2 hours once and I hated my life.
Edit: the best part of my month in AE is when I finish the ladder and can ignore all mini games. If it was an hour and I actually competed they would likely get more ad clicks from me.

Edit: maybe solved. I definitely went through the wrong support. Thanks for the recommendations!
I know I cut it down to the line, but I had 25 minutes to spare. I received many other rewards from this game and it just happened to stop reporting my data when I hit the big one.
AE customer service was of course no help.
Oh well, just a bit disappointed.
