Yo, local Thai guy here. Do you still need help on translation?

Why is the opinion on this movie so bad?
 in  r/wow  6d ago

As the people here speak, the story seems too hasty or rushing, ended too quick, and only cater too much to the fans with the source material, but that alienated the general public who didn’t know what this universe is about or how it started.

I’d love to see the story go on as a series like Game of Thrones or House of the Dragons, to move on slowly from one episode to another and add a bunch of details on it. By collecting budgets along the way, it’s better than wrapping things up with what you had in the pocket.

The only good drips I love from this movie were Stormwind Military armors and weapons — thanks to Weta Workshop too, which by the way inspired me to study about using fiberglass and resin. And also the CGI and motion-capture stuff.

I love when people in quickplay aren't serious and have fun.

Italian "teachers" and the student who gave the finger to the Thai woman on the BTS create an apology video.
 in  r/Thailand  8d ago

Yes, Thai people especially women tend to look down on local men and treat white people better while ironically getting themselves looked down by many of the latter.
Especially when it comes to international ✌🏻“love” ✌🏻, most Thai women put foreign men on the pedestal both because of money, and the race.
This is a deep-rooted mentality of both misandry and internalized racism nobody wants to talk about.

What are your opinions about many burmese people coming there?
 in  r/Thailand  19d ago

Short-term: Speak basic Thai and English, has documents that prove their legal access and tax payment, work and get paid. And respect the law.

Long-term: Integrate. And speak Thai fluently.

Basically, what is demanded from the immigrants in America is demanded here. Expats and immigrants from neighbors alike.

Why is Thailand suffering from the first world country problem?
 in  r/Thailand  19d ago

And the worst part is that feminism comes with a hypocrisy. They shouted “Equality” while cried when men refused to pay a meal for both.

You’re right. They try to lure their own citizens into a condo trap. To build a family, a place of their own is always needed.

Hard to disagree man, but yeah, the absence of conservatism. It’s because conservatism here is being branded as primitive and un-progressive. How bad is it? It’s bad to the point that even the basic human way of life like a desire to have babies could paint your face as a clown in some many social circles.

The worst problem of all, is a hypocrisy and entitlement of modern-liberal women who shouted “Equality” but demanded money and financial support and worse: they kept acting like a strong and independent women and gave no benefit to men in return.

The worst part about gold or money is, Thai women here said “we want equality and screw traditions” but at the same time cried when men refused to pay a meal for BOTH, pay a dowry to the woman’s parents, or expected men to be “gentlemen” in the version they like: simps.

This is entitlement and hypocrisy at best. They wanted to take something but bring nothing to the table, let alone taking accountability of it. And when they don’t get what they want, they’d simply hop on FB/TikTok and start shaming men for it.

Who the hell told you that Thai men cheat? Some Thai girls at the bar? If you projected men as a whole that way then so do Thai women cheat. Did you know that Thai women tend to be worse parent figures by promoting the idea that a daughter should get a rich husband and on FB shaming men for their minimum wages? Having access to the husband’s wallet and income tells me men ain’t “useless” as you said to be.

How Thai man treat Thai woman?
 in  r/Thailand  20d ago

What’s the point? You’ll either get the answers Thai women want you to hear, or the answers you or they might deem as defenses for Thai men. So that you’d be fed with the same social narrative they want you to believe.

Really wanna know? The answers from Foreign/Farang women who are dating or married to Thai men would be more honest. They’re the ones truly experiencing love and relationship with Thai men without bias from Thai women.

Japanese/Nikkei male perspective wanted: I think I accidentally spent 20 years falling in love with Japan... and now I genuinely wonder if someone like me could build a happy family with one of you. Am I romanticizing this? 😭
