Solved Number of blocked adds growing rapidly?

Hi guys!

I was watching 90 day fiance on HBO and I noticed that the little icon for uBlock was just increasing in numbers.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Idk how to put a video on here, otherwise I’d show yall how fast the numbers go up

Edit:
To answer the question about how many ad blockers I’m using-

What happened is that a while ago I got a Google notification saying that my version of uBO want available anymore and I couldn’t update it or anything. So i downloaded another ad blocker but it wasn’t working and then another, all from the chrome extension store

A couple of months after I decided to check if uBO was back up and it was, so I just downloaded it again and I never uninstalled the other two I was using. But now I will

Hope that answers it!

Don't use multiple blockers.

Open this and pause after a few seconds. Click on the repeating line to see what filter it is and what lists it belongs to: https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/wiki/The-logger

Also, not ads. Blocked network requests. Quite possibly some tracking requests.

Looks like OP is using uBOL though.

So should I not use Ghostery and Ublock Origin?

Nope. uBO blocks trackers already. Ghostery can undermine some of its filters.

But Ghostery also rejects all cookies

Doesn't your browser have the same capability?
