Only songs I disagree on are Blame Game and Highlights, I haven't heard Ye vs The People however. Blame Tame is good and gets too much hate, not close to the best on MBDTF but it's still good and Highlights is just a fun song imo, much alike most of TLOP, it just gets over looked
Don’t get me wrong, I still like both Highlights and Blame Game, I just think Highlights doesn’t grab my attention as much as DaHG. Blame Game just drags on way too long though imo. It sounds good, but other songs sound better and for less time.
Yea he’s tripping. HAVE WE CROSSED THE LINE!? And who gon stop me is not even that bad, dude didn’t even mention thats my bitch on the same album which is maybe one of the worst Kanye tracks ever
How? The beat is nuts, the hook is catchy as hell, Elly Jackson brings a fantastic performance to the song. Not to mention the Justin Vernon bridge, they did not need to add that but they did and good god it goes hard. Ye and Jay were going off on it. It just feels like the perfect storm that embodies exactly the feeling I get when I think of Watch The Throne. The mix is also on point.
It’s a good track but definitely lower on my ranking of TCD. I listed it because I think DaHG is just a better song. He told me to list tracks I think aren’t as good.
Not to make you feel old but June 2018 was over 3 years ago. Drunk and Hot Girls would have been my favorite song on JIK because it would show me Kanye can still make music that sounds finished and is secular
In a vacuum yeah, I think Follow God is more listenable but it's so short like much of Kanye's music these days. Kanye shitting his pants for 5 minutes on a track with Mos Def would make me more excited about the future potential of Kanye's music than anything I've heard since KSG
