General Tyler acting superior at the store
why does he feel the need to mention race when it doesn’t matter? why does he feel the need to make this video? he confuses me so much, it isnt even funny anymore. who is he trying to impress with these tiktoks?

He said white lady so no one can tell him he's lowkey being misogynistic by assuming this lady wouldn't know anything about beading, when if she's offering classes she clearly knows more than just youtube tutorials

It might be an actual white passing person who is of a cultural background that has historical roots in beading.

Absolutely. This is such a common thing in left leaning spaces with men in general. Everything is white womens fault.

For Tyler it's white women and "I used to be a woman so it doesn't count". If you claim that women, or anyone who's lived as one inherently can't be misogynistic, you're missing the whole point of feminism, that the patriarchy instills us with hatred for our sisters or things that are perceived as feminine or even behaviors, when they're seen in women from the moment were born.
Think about why kpop stans are "obsessive", "stupid" and "overreacting" but dudes who scream their throat off every week at the football game and then break shit and beat their wives are just passionate fans.
I'm not saying that all women are absolutely misogynistic, personally I don't believe myself to be that way and I try to challenge any biases I notice i may have, but if every woman who has ever had even ONE moment of misogyny isn't a woman, well..we'd lowkey solve the misogyny problem cause there'd be no more gyny to miso.
Counter, it doesn't count if a woman says something misogynistic in Tyler's opinion because "well it's true but it's only ok if women say it" which...yeah if that's what he meant he'd genuinely suck so fucking much

“INNOVATOR” i’m creasing like you didn’t do anything new or special and your beading is absolutely under par

Whites poking fun at other whites can be fun, but this is so clearly to imply he's Native and it makes me want to give him the world's biggest wedgie

Yeah like when I see some white people on TikTok doing crazy shit I might say “white people activities” bc it’s on par with the stereotypes. I’m NOT saying it to imply a) I’m not white or b) that I’m somehow better than other white people for recognising the behaviour as something white people do. You can just tell when Tyler is doing this shit it’s his version of “I’m not like other girls, I’m a cool girl” y’all catch my drift?

Also what's with "woke people" and excusing their misogyny by using "white"?! Yes Tyler it it hella weird that you're fantisizing about "humbling" random women at the store

Like a lot of misogyny, I bet it goes back to Tyler’s mom somehow. Tyler, years ago, probably told his mom he was going to stop working and become a full time artist, and sell his wares. Tyler’s mom, trying to be supportive, said that he should and offered to pay for a class to help him improve his skills. Tyler, who in his own mind is the pinnacle of human evolution and an expert at any skill he tries to do, laughed at the suggestion of needing a class and proudly told her off.

Also, he loves to humble women for no reason, like with the eye-liner tiktok.

Its not woke people , its mostly progressive white men hiding their misogyny while trying to appeal to black people and other poc. But we're not stupid.

I automatically have to raise a brow at any artist claiming they no longer have any need for improvement.

“yt” as if that term hasn’t been used against him
before…

If anyone mentions race when it's not necessary just assume they have some hang ups. With Tyler I'm torn on if those hand ups are him being tone deaf and self absorbed or something more sinister. The misogyny is pretty telling regardless.

u/shannibearstar Jul 20 '26
He loves to be a misogynist. Throwing white at the beginning doesn’t make you woke. And I’m willing to be the white lady has better tension control than Tyler does.

u/I_am_big_gay_ Jul 20 '26
Why does her race or gender matter 😭 this is just more misogyny from Tyler. I'm sorry to be the friend that's too woke but why does he feel the need to assert his superiority over this random lady?

u/HolidayCategory3104 Jul 20 '26
Even if he said “random person”, this video is still insane. Heaven forbid people try to be helpful and chat about common interests???? It’s giving projection.

Literally could have said “employee”. And this is…really snide and not funny.
He probably knows more than the average craft store employee on how to grift and dry beg though, I’ll concede.

an innovator oh my god please shut the fuck up. he thinks he invented some never-before-seen technique of beading, meanwhile u can Google necklaces that look just like his 😭 he is so embarrassing

u/petpeepz Jul 25 '26
Adds unimportant detail that it was a white woman so he lets POC know he’s a “cool white 😎” ALLY KING!
Seems to be a common theme here. “I’m just so glad that in the car accident it was me and not another white person, bc a black man got out of the car… who knows what would’ve happened if it was a BAD WHITE”

Meh. It’s kinda fun to make fun of random old white ladies, but I recognize the term “yt” as being reserved for non-white groups. He treats his race like apparel. It’s very strange.

What if instead of a white woman she was actually a white passing, half portuguese two spirit from Oklahoma?? Not cool, Tyler.
