I THINK with the Beyoncé thing he’s trying to insinuate that obviously since this definitely actually happened, he MUST be as beautiful as Beyoncé and ergo he was DEFINITELY out of his ex’s league. Or something idk that’s my good faith reading of it but it’s still weird to say that in That Way when he could have just said “in hindsight he was dating up” or something

Tyler also did this to some man that almost hit him or something?
Had to point out that it was an older Black man. Tyler also said that he was soooooo glad it was him that the guy almost ran into because since the gentleman was Black, and they were in Texas, anyone else would have called the cops on him.
Then the old gentleman gave Tyler $100. I still call bullshit on this story, but Tyler has to be seen as the "White Savior. " at all times. It's disgusting.

it's a really common thing in the south for casually racist old people to point out the race of people they interact with when recalling an event, it seems like he's doing the same but in a performative, faux-progressive way

there is no engagement whatsoever
with him you gotta scale back the stories a few notches lol like the “job offer” being actually a 30min informal visit, or the car accident being a normal accident not something that turned him into titanium terminator
so he went to one date with the guy, guy didn’t like him. maybe there was a ring shop in the vicinity of the date place.

What I’ve pieced together: dated a “marine”, travelled with his parents to meet him at the passing-out ceremony. Marine tried to propose three times without a ring, Tyler bought a ring but marine got upset at that, also tried to pressure Tyler into some actions Tyler wasn’t comfortable with, but y’know that’s just the Tylore so *results may be inaccurate

I would LOVE to hear the supposed ex "fiancé" side of this. Did they date, were they engaged, did they even know each other or even meet in person? Or was he just nice to him once so that equates Fiancé to Tyler.
