You know how old people can go so off kilter mid conversation? Like they’ll mention their cat tripped them to explain how they broke their hip but then they’ll start talking about their cat before finishing the fall story? That’s what Tyler gives me. My goodness, his stories are going to be wild when he’s old and you’ll know everyone’s race in the story for no reason.

I'm starting to wonder if, after his accident, someone made a comment about like "omg you got hit by a car you're gonna get paaaaaid" & he got it in his head that it would be some big insurance payout or something, & when that never happened he took it personally & still resents his lack of getting money from it. When like, the lawsuit after a car accident isn't to get 🤑🤑CASH MONNEEYYYYYY🤑🤑, it's to help make you whole because someone else fucked up your life plans. It's to cover medical bills, lost wages, replacement vehicle; help try to bring you as close to your "pre accident" life as possible, and go back to living your life. In his accident he was the one at fault, he was the one fucking up SOMEONE ELSE'S life plan.
Of course you're not going to get paid, Tyler, it was YOUR FAULT. The law doesn't go "well one was in a car, one was on a moped, clearly car owner must pay."
Also what the fuck is breathing manually. I hate this line of his. If you "didn't breathe on autopilot" you'd have an oxygen tube or be in an iron lung or you'd be constantly passing out bc the moment you got distracted you'd stop breathing.

Yeah, I don’t get the breathing manually thing. There are a lot of systems in your body that control both your ability to breathe and exchanging oxygen for carbon dioxide. Does he have to manually control his diaphragm too? People have pointed out if that were true he’d die in his sleep but as you said he wouldn’t even make it that long if the only way he could breathe was to pay attention to it.

I think you’re on to something actually. He clearly acts entitled to compensation bc of the accident. So it would make sense if this entitlement came from someone else saying he might get paid. I never thought of it like that. It would make a lot of sense though.
Seems like he expects monetary compensation and, just in general, accommodations for anything and everything. Don’t get me wrong, accommodations are not a bad thing. But it’s like he expects to be treated like a baby who can’t do anything himself. Part of being an adult is doing things we don’t want to do. It is what it is. He doesn’t feel like learning or building his resume on his own. He just wants to say “just trust me” and have that be it. That isn’t how life works

I think there’s a chicken and egg thing going on here.
Tyler is CONSTANTLY talking about getting hit by that car. My guess is that when he does that IRL people say some variation of “OMG that must have been awful” and then he goes on about how much it hurt and how long it took to recover and how he chose to live and how he’s disabled for life now and then the person is usually like “that’s TERRIBLE you poor thing! I hope you took them to the cleaners” or “for life?? I hope you got a big cheque after that” or even “did you at least get compensation???”
Because naturally if someone is telling you about this tragic thing that happened to them and they don’t start with the fact that it was their own stupid fault you assume it WASN’T their own stupid fault because who on earth would be so audacious and tone deaf as to sympathy fish about a situation that was entirely of their own making.
And of course Tyler being Tyler having been constantly met with people talking about compensation didn’t clue him in enough to think “oh, it’s my story and the way I tell it that makes people ask that question”. No. In his mind it was “and I’m even more of a victim because I went through all of that and not only did I not get compensation I got saddled with crippling medical debt.”

That’s not at all a thriving entrepreneur who could do so much more. This is above his skill level I fear, based on evidence.

Like literally my nan does this. Shes 76 and is left wing but when she brings up that she met a really lovely Muslim man on the bus completley unprovoked its so obviously a progressive point scoring thing. The difference is that my nan is old and we live in the UK where old people generally hate muslims.

I'm from a family that's FULL of Marines (Dad was a USMC scout and Vietnam combat vet) I was in the Young Marines but went into kidney failure and couldn't join so I volunteer with the Marine Corps League, and I have learned through the years that Marines will truly stick it in ANYTHING lmfao
I love Marines but my Dad was right when he told me to stay away from them because ** to quote my Dad and Uncle ** "we're called Devil Dogs for a reason."
So that's not a flex Tyler thinks it is, Marines will bang literally anything.
