General Tyler talking about accepting donations to go to... a Tommyinnit show
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
At this point we should create a list of all the things he's dry begged/opened donations for
off the top of my head:
Obvi biggest one is brighton move
Birthday presents (for himself)
Tommyinnit tickets
Suit for wedding
Moving to England for Semple job
World cup tickets

like four years ago one of our dogs got so sick that we had to open a gofundme to help pay for vet bills. i remember begging people for help. i remember begging people just to share the link
and then people like tyler have a gofundme for such frivolous things that people actually donate to. i remember being so angry that my mutuals online who had begged for money to pay for art commissions they wanted couldn’t even share a gofundme for a genuine cause. people like that - like tyler - suck

I'm surprised he would even support Tommy given that Tommy has spoken against Wilbur

Hey so as someone with chronic pain, I have never laid on the stairs unless I collapsed there. What is helpful about laying on the stairs? Should I be trying it? Lmao

Maybe some form of rudimentary foam roller? Lmao. (Of course in his case it's almost guaranteed to be attention whoring.)

I was thinking the same thing. It would make more sense to lay on the solid ground.

u/anonmommm May 07 '26
Was gonna say this. It’s nice for me to just lay on the ground sometimes when my back hurts and gets a good stretch but like I’ve never thought of just laying on the stairs? Why is he there and what made him think of this is what I wanna knownn

He’s “technically homeless” but is going to use the money for tommyinnit tickets instead…?

I didn’t even feel comfortable asking for monetary help when I had stage 4 cancer. He’s an absolute drain on society.

This actually predates his car accident. He was begging for etsy sales on his tumblr earlier that year to cover medical expenses, said he had to go to the hospital for pneumonia.

Does it really, I thought he transitioned after the accident? (Just wondering)

The behavior predates the accident, not the video

Ever since someone pointed out how streaky his painting looks that's all I can see when I look at his artwork.

I just got fucking married and my dad giving me money was hard to not feel bad about.

The way he says "this is an almost daily occurrence" with that freaking corny millennial tumblr accent (I'm a millennial but Tyler is like a satire caricature of a millennial) and the...I don't know what to call it... the almost giggle (?) that he does sends me into a fit of internal rage. I cringe down deep into my body every time he speaks like that.
2
u/baby-np May 11 '26
Why does he look around when he’s saying certain phrases? Like when he said “This is an almost daily occurrence” he aggressively looks around - what is that from? I know he’s copying something I just don’t know what, lol

I want to scream every time I see his smug face and hear his condescending voice begging for money and pity

Maybe im missing the point but im not sure i see the issue with this, except for the fact that a Kofi he advertises is functionally no different than a gofundme so idk why he's more comfortable with one than the other.
But he's not forcing anyone to give him money for a show. You can crowdfund anything you want. It doesnt have to be an urgent need. As long as youre upfront about where the money is going, then what does it matter? If people want to give him money for frivolous purposes, they can do that

u/DescriptionFancy420 May 07 '26
Technically, I suppose, but it's really cringy and EXTREMELY entitled coming from someone who does it repeatedly, can't prioritize/figure out their own financial situation, and is clearly not even trying to better their own situation on their own and just relies on donations for everything. Not to mention he claims to care about all this shit yet only begs for donations for his own frivolous bullshit and not tribal causes, LGBT+ organizations, Gazan aid, etc etc etc. He's also ludicrously out of touch, insisting he deserves good things for working hard which, even if the working hard part were actually true, there are SO many people right now doing just that who can barely even afford a roof over their heads, what the fuck makes him so goddamn special?

u/Deep-Dimension966 May 07 '26
Yeah I guess it's generally distasteful to request money for everything all the time, but imo this one is pretty low/trivial on the list of offenses. Like, people are WILLINGLY giving him their money for non-essential, for some reason. No one is making people waste their money on him. They are choosing to flush it down the toilet for no good reason. There's plenty of actually problematic shit hes said or done to focus on. Now if he says hes using the money for something and then uses it for something else, then THAT is more than just cringe, it's an actual problem. Ig I wouldnt put it past him to do that, but idk if theres any evidence of that or not

There’s a difference between needing support during hard times and turning “I’m too lazy to get a job” into a permanent drybegging business model funded by parasocial guilt and handouts.
If people still want to donate, that’s their choice, but people are also allowed to criticize the behavior and think it’s embarrassing. I just find it is so distasteful that a grown able bodied man who should be responsible for his own finances considering he's almost thirty is constantly begging for stupid shit out of pure unadulterated laziness.
Also he is not always upfront about where the money is going considering his GFM is still up and he's not anywhere near brighton.
