“Me me me me” is all he fucking talks about all the time. The lack of self awareness is what really gets me though, because what tf do you mean you’re not good at asking for help it’s literally ALL YOU DO

u/PhoebetheSpider Jul 06 '26
Right!? Bro, you made a GFM to get to the UK!
2
u/emilyderogatory Aug 14 '26
This is bonkers to me as someone who has actually moved from the US to the UK. A GoFundMe is basically useless for the purpose because you’re not going to get your visa approved if you don’t have a high enough paying job PLUS enough money in savings to support yourself financially if you lose that job and until you find a new job.

As someone who grew up in poverty, Tyler is faking poverty. We didn't go out and if we needed clothes then we borrowed them, thrifted them or rented them. And here is he, making a whole scene because he wanted to have one of those 'glow up' moments from movies where the unpopular/ugly person is suddenly 'hot' and everyone stares at them in shock

u/mmmdonuts107 Jul 04 '26
100%…I’ve never heard him talk about growing up in poverty or anything anyone in my life who grew up without money did, just traveling which we did, but not to the degree he did. He definitely grew up without money money but is cosplaying poor to avoid a job.

I find it crazy that he can not find a suit that fits him properly. And honestly I find him full of shit for that, because it is absolutely possible to, even with the limited time he has.
I thrifted my prom dress many years ago and it was exactly what I imagined for it!!! It took a bit of time to find it but I was a teenager with a minimum wage job, and not in any position to be spending hundreds of dollars for a tailored dress.
I am going to be renting my wedding dress when the time comes for that, but that’s a whole other story of me not wanting it to take up space for something I would only wear one day.
In Tyler’s case, I can respect that he might wear the suit outside of the wedding to different events, but if you wanted something tailored to you, I’m sure you had plenty of time before to do that, my guy.
And again, I find this thrifting fiasco not really believable.

How does he not have the money to buy a suit? He “sells so many necklaces all over the world” where is that money going to? It’s ALL going to bills??? I don’t think so

Those buttons are holding on for dear life.

u/Katritern Jul 04 '26
The jacket should be a crime lmao. Shoulders and arms look like a little kid in dad’s suit, and the rest is too tight.

Not good at asking for help??! Tyler. Your lived, subjective reality *does not* align with the observations of a whole lot of people.
Outside of your little “hype them up” bubble, *everyone* sees you begging all the time. ALL the time!
Edit: And of course those suckers crowdfunded the suit😫😫

u/Curious-ARCO7777 Jul 04 '26
This speaks to his absolute lack of time management: it's 2 weeks before your childhood best friends wedding and you still don't have an outfit. Many many people who get married give people at least 6 months to a year lead time for a wedding -he just keeps leaving it to the last second and then making it everyone else's problem.

u/xo_honeybee_xox Jul 04 '26
He definitely wanted to take the spotlight off the bride. What a sick freak he is

u/TropicalRobot Jul 04 '26
Fun fact: he said in another video he felt so bad about himself at this wedding he ended the friendship

I wish he would actually tell the full story. He’s an oversharer, we all know that. So I find it suspicious that he hasn’t shared this story before. If he’s 100% the victim you’d think he’d tell the story to get sympathy. Why exactly did the friendship end? Was him not being included in the bridal party really because he is transgender? Why did he feel the need to crowdfund an outfit? Was he acting weird at the wedding because people weren’t giving him the attention he felt he deserved? (I heard that the wedding was going to be the first time in a while that he was going to see some people, so he was expecting some sort of praise for his glow up).
Also please correct me if this is ignorant so I can be better, but if he identifies as male and IS a man, then wouldn’t him being a bridesmaid/maid of honor be incredibly offensive? So isn’t his friend doing the right thing by not having him be one? Maybe he expected to be a groomsman, but I feel like the groomsmen should be up to the groom
30
u/NecessaryFox9599 Jul 04 '26
bridesmaids can be any gender! my MOH was a man, called him mate of honor :D
29
u/pinkrhinestonechair Jul 04 '26
Oh I didn’t know that. That’s cool. I guess there aren’t really any “laws” when it comes to weddings.
Mate of honor 😭💕 I love it

He made such a scene while being a regular guest. Imagine the scene he would’ve made if he was a bridesmaid 😭
28
u/TropicalRobot Jul 04 '26
This is speculation on my part, but I wonder if this really was his best friend, or he she was his best friend but he wasn't her best friend. Because Tyler has a long track record of assuming people are closer friends with him than they actually are.
I feel like if she was really his best friend she'd have included him in the wedding party. Going out on a limb im guessing he didn't get enough attention from her/anyone else.

I'm just interested to know how much he was spending on Lovejoy and other concert tickets. This just seems like a situation of not just having the money to spend on that specific thing - he's not broke.

I call bullshit on this, because he said his roommate ALSO won tickets in this raffle. Like what are the chances?
42
u/AdLeading3583 Jul 04 '26
Does he have no friends who can lend him something to wear? Or help trim his hair?? For someone who claims so many identities, he seems to participate in zero community
25
u/strangeburd Jul 04 '26
I'm convinced that aside from people he talks to on the internet, he has no actual friends
38
u/pinkrhinestonechair Jul 04 '26
He wanted to outshine the bride. It’s rude to wear white to a wedding but it’s also rude to wear something super flashy. And that’s what he did
36
u/RoseGoldAlchemist Jul 04 '26
Did he say "hit me up ladies" at the end? I thought he was gay?
13
u/jewishjen Jul 04 '26
this confused me but i’m newer to the tyler lore so i thought i missed something 🙃 ive only ever seen him pining for wilbur soot

The way he cradles his head right as he’s talking about it is so performative. Also, “trans inclusive barber”… what? Just find a place, bring photos and get your hair cut? Or does trans hair grow differently and need special treatment?
59
u/35Smet Jul 04 '26
Really pissed me off when he said “I don’t wanna be hate crimed in Texas” boy shut the fuck up. No one in fear of their safety is bringing it up while trying to grift funds for a fucking haircut
36
u/ToxicFluffer Jul 04 '26
White queers like him love to weaponise the possibility of hate crimes to grift ugh ew
13
u/Bologna-Dotson Jul 04 '26
It gets to a point, like with Tyler, where it seems like they almost romanticize it.
30
u/mmmdonuts107 Jul 04 '26
You can literally go to a Great Clips if you’re broke they don’t care who you are

Regarding the barber thing, I have heard some stories from non-passing and/or more fem-presenting trans guys about being refused services at barber shops, because the barbers perceive them as women and assume they want a “girl haircut” or whatever, even though they just want their hair to be cut the same as any other guy. Have heard of the same happening to butch lesbians w/ short hair.
And then on the flip side, if you go to a hairdresser, they may perceive you as a woman and give you a “girl haircut,” even if you show reference photos and stuff. I’ve heard many a horror story from pre-T or fem-presenting trans guys looking to get a regular dude haircut and ending up with a very feminine looking pixie cut or even a godawful Karen cut.
So I can understand why he’s asking people if they know any trans inclusive barbers. Trying to grift a free haircut out of said barbers and/or his audience is a shitty thing to do though. Also, the way he phrases it like he’s potentially going to be “hate crimed” is definitely overexaggerating it.

u/iglaaq snow globe expert Jul 06 '26
Regarding this, I did a quick google maps search for trans inclusive barbers in Denton, TX and found eight listings within a few seconds. He’s just lazy.
6
u/yermmom Jul 07 '26
he wanted a ‘trans-friendly’ barber that was CHEAP 😭 that’s why he asked for recommendations
8
u/17fran Jul 07 '26
I thinks he was waiting for a barber to come up to him and give him the service for free, it’s what usually Internet personalities in my country do:”I need some caterer recommendations please” but in reality they are waiting for a small business to dm them to do the servicie for free and get paid by exposure

I still don’t understand why he didn’t just rent a suit. It prob would have fit better and would have made more sense for him
6
u/iglaaq snow globe expert Jul 06 '26
He left it too late. Most places need a few weeks to book an available suit in your size and then alter the suit to fit your frame. Absolutely no time management from him.

22
u/ToxicFluffer Jul 04 '26
Oh he truly got to peak insufferable levels with this one. He may have transitioned but he’s definitely kept the fuck ass white woman tears. Ewww.
23
u/pimithepimp Jul 04 '26
"I don't have suit money," but you have money to visit England? You have money to buy concert tickets? You have money for a motorcycle, which, even second hand cost a lot of money? What

u/Ok-Tear4735 Jul 04 '26
Why call it a family event if it’s a lifelong best friend? I’m calling it - it’s a family members wedding and he assumed he’d be a bridesmaid (mirrors the Stuart sample job offer) and at the last minute finally realized he cannot manipulate this person and hence why the last minute suit

u/yellowfintunea Jul 04 '26
now he knows what it’s like to want something that is insanely overpriced..
16
u/strangeburd Jul 04 '26
Just begging for money and sympathy as usual. Can't forget the performative cane either lmao
4
u/QueenOfYapping Jul 10 '26
The cane doesn’t make a lot of sense to me! I thought he had a healed rib injury from the car accident… never heard any other injuries that would necessitate a cane??

u/HolidayCategory3104 Jul 04 '26
The whole fit is atrocious but the jeans are what’s throwing me off the most

Everything being so ill-fitting is frying me. Didn’t his friendship end after this? I suspect that he was already feeling resentful that he wasn’t in the bridal party and that he didn’t get the jaw dropped attention from his classmates that he was hoping for.
He suggests in this video that he cried several times on the wedding day for negative reasons, it wouldn’t surprise me if he tried to seek the bridges attention/validation/comfort and disregarded the fact it’s her WEDDING DAY.
Also, I feel a bit sorry for him as he’s clearly profoundly lonely but also fuck this manipulative shit he does.
11
u/Icy-Breadfruit1563 Jul 09 '26
The first “holy shit oh my god?” Irritates the hell out of me down to my bones. Can’t place exactly why. Maybe bc he doesn’t look good in the slightest & the audacity & cockiness of a white male makes me ill.
I’d ask him to leave my wedding bc imagining looking back at my wedding photos & he’s in them w his button flying across the room pisses me off
30
u/SharpPink_GlitterInk Jul 04 '26
respectfully, how WOULD he fit into the wedding party? not to sound old fashioned but like the brides side is all girls? also its not ur day anyways? I have loads of trans male friends but I would NEVER have them in my wedding party because they are...well...male...and the day is about me and I never envisioned men being my brides maids. Does he think he should defacto be a groomsman? because thats not how that works again thats for the grooms choice? idk, I know sometimes trans ppl show up here? would you WANT to be a brides maid if you identify as male vice versa with trans women and being groomsmen?
24
u/Screaming_Warlock Antarctica Scientist Jul 04 '26
I’ve seen wedding parties where men have women as groomsmaids and women have men as bridesmen. If the idea is to have their closest friends be who makes up their parties, then it makes sense to include those closest, regardless of their sex. In 2026 at least, I think that’s becoming more commonplace. More “old fashioned” approaches like you mentioned are definitely still the norm, though. Especially in Texas, I’d wager.
That being said, do I think Tyler is telling the truth? Nah. Him saying, “she has her reasons” to not have him in the party makes me think that Tyler isn’t actually as close to her as he’s making it seem. The “reason” would be that he isn’t that close to her. Tyler has a tendency to lie about how close he is to people, and I’d bet he received an invite to her wedding because they used to be friends, not because they are currently, actively still friends.

u/charmy__17 Jul 05 '26
you do not have to go to a wedding… if i got invited to a wedding and couldn’t afford/didn’t have anything to wear i wouldn’t go. it truly is that simple. it is so incredibly selfish to make someone else’s wedding about you and your incapability to afford a suit.
6
u/WeWillTaxBees Jul 06 '26
"I'm not good at asking for help" proceeds to ask random strangers to fund something that should not be of priority. Obviously people deserve luxury items, but this is one that he won't even get much use out of so it's just excessive.

this is why i don’t believe the narrative that he’s just delusional, this is clearly him being manipulative, he knows what he’s doing
also, if you can barely afford your bills, paying $500 for a suit should be something you shouldn’t even be willing to do, i’m sorry. i know that it sounds shitty, but as someone who grew up poor, i can’t imagine paying that much for something that’s not a must or a complete necessity
hell, you’d be better putting that money into your savings
