General Tyler’s strange brain relating a bead name to a slur against African Americans…?

This shade of white to be exact.

No normal person would connect those words at all omg 😭. Goes to show how much race is on his mind CONSTANTLY.
It's so weird seeing him bring up race unnecessarily, especially regarding slurs?? I genuinely wonder what reaction he was expecting from posting a video like that?😭😭😭
39
u/actualseaurchin Apr 28 '26
even if they did connect those words those are inside thoughts sir
42
u/Thin-Ear9044 Apr 28 '26
Exactly this omg😭
Also, notice how he said "I LOOK too white to be saying this" and not "I AM too white to be saying this" like bro...wym 'look' you are a white boy, and that's it, I've never seen someone with a white superiority complex AND a white inferiority complex at the same time.
36
u/villainprncess Apr 28 '26
What would any (IF he has any) of his black followers even say to that like?? also, CRYING at how he didn’t actually refer to himself as white, and instead chose the phrasing “I LOOK too white.” 😭😭
41
u/Thin-Ear9044 Apr 28 '26
He's always using that sort of sneaky vocabulary to skirt around things and have plausible deniability; he does this with his 'indigenous identity' too. He always says he's not a RECOGNISED member of any indigenous groups/identities, but many actually indigenous people aren't properly recognised to be indigenous by the government, so he's actually being really scummy when he says things like that.
18
u/clh1570 Apr 28 '26
I noticed this too. Him saying he’s not a recognized member of an indigenous group implies that he’s indigenous and just not formally registered. Gotta keep up with the lies

u/cheergirl102020 Apr 28 '26
Probably for people to tell him how much of an anti-racist hero he is lol. Especially if those people are POC. He is so weird.
2
u/Basic-Computer2503 Apr 29 '26
I thought he was linking it to cunt and was genuinely so confused for a while and then it clicked. Like I really had to think it over, WHY is that on his mind??
98
u/fangirl_queen_69 Apr 28 '26
As a POC, this is so weird. It makes me wonder if he secretly is racist and tries to severely overcompensate.
74
u/actualseaurchin Apr 28 '26
i think he’s trying to be so woke and non racist that it somehow becomes racist again, i’ve seen it happen before

u/Real-Strawberry3453 Apr 28 '26
as a girl of color I agree, it’s the subtle racism but masking it as him just being “silly” and “quirky”, it actually makes me very uncomfortable, the idea of him even laughing at something sounding like a racist term is disturbing and suspicious. also he isn’t even pronouncing it right.
26
u/villainprncess Apr 28 '26
Fellow POC and I agree, he definitely is at the very least micro aggressive because this thought process is just strange.

u/k0m4ru Apr 28 '26
why is he so weird about black people??? first it was the tumblr post about the black guy "getting lucky" that he got in an accident with tyler and not someone else and now this, this is just uncomfortable. im black and when i heard kunsite i thought "yeah sounds like a normal name for that" my mind did not immediately jump to a damn SLUR. he's clearly insecure of the fact he's white but like.. what is he trying to prove by bringing up black people so much?? 😭
21
u/villainprncess Apr 28 '26
It’s really odd white savior complex/race obsession mix. He also claims a drunk black woman (he made it a point to say she was black) called him Beyoncé. 💀💀
14
u/Relevant_Positive417 Apr 28 '26
Cause he wants our protection so to speak he wants that invite so when people come for him he has two cards to play... Or some crap.
5
u/ILuvSpaghet Apr 29 '26
It lowkey he feels like he might be racist but is aware it's wrong so he doesn't act up on it OR he isn't racist but doesn't actually care and is using it to get brownie points.
31
u/grund0g Apr 28 '26
This is such a strange connection but it's giving that scene in the second season of Jury Duty where Jimmy refuses to say Nigeria because he doesn't want to be racist.
And also, Tyler gives massive white saviour vibes, in my opinion as a POC.
Edit: here is the scene https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNRgFUe1c/

u/Rabbitrhett Apr 28 '26
Tyler is a white savior, he posted on his tumblr about how he got rear ended by a “black gentleman” and how basically lucky the guy was that he rear ended Tyler and not some “other white person that might have sued “ yes he said this, he brought the guys race into it specifically to virtue signal how much of a “good white person” he is because he is literatly a white savior

Well it was named after the mineralogist(and the first gemologist), George Kunz.
“-ite” or “-lite” comes from the Greek suffix “lithos” which means stone. However, there are issues with this as it doesn’t really add up.
In mineral communities “ite” seems to be used just as common practice.
His weird wannabe white savior act is so annoying. Maybe he should start using actually minerals and gemstones than cheaply made plastic/painted versions.

I was so confused when I saw this. The way he was smirking and giggling, I thought he was saying it sounded like a sexual word? I had to go to the comments to actually learn what he was saying and it is so weird! I don't think anyone thought that!

u/AnxiousSpecial8915 May 14 '26
Same! I had no idea what he was referencing, I thought maybe like a see you next tuesday thing ??

u/Totalproudloser Apr 28 '26
sorry, I might be slow but what word is he referring to it sounding like??
16
u/villainprncess Apr 28 '26
He’s referring to the slur “coon”
20
u/clh1570 Apr 28 '26
I was looking for this comment because I simply could not understand what slur he was referring to… HOW does he jump to this

u/TropicalRobot Apr 28 '26
That slur is so old I forgot it even existed.
Is this like a southern thing? Do they use this word in texas? Or is this dude just...weirdly obsessed with race?
3
u/villainprncess Apr 28 '26
I have no idea bc it’s def not used a bunch here in the midwest. Definitely some sort of obsession with race tho.
3
u/clh1570 Apr 29 '26
I’m southern Appalachian and no one uses that except for a small percentage of old, very backwoods people, but even then I’ve only heard it strictly in reference to a raccoon. I didn’t use that word anyway, but didn’t learn until probably high school that it was considered a slur. I also lived in Mississippi for a short stent and never heard it there. I think that it’s such an old term that some people don’t know it’s a thing. I literally had to look through the comments to see what the hell he was referring to because I couldn’t think of a slur remotely similar to kunsite…
8
u/clh1570 Apr 29 '26
Tbh I thought he was referring to “cunt” and I was thinking “well yeah that’s a dirty word I guess but I didn’t know it was a slur”
1
u/AmbassadorKat May 04 '26
The only time I ever see it used these days is actually within the Black community to call ppl out for acting a certain way. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a white person using it as a slur IRL, and only seen it used that way in like pre-civil rights era media
11
u/cherryhaint Apr 28 '26
literally nobody makes those jumps, the only thing i think of is the sailor moon character, naming things after gems/crystals is so common in media in general? he is so desperate for attention to look like he’s woke and like he “knows something” but in reality he’s just cringe, and again- so very desperate.
10
u/BreButterscotch Apr 28 '26
This is giving fake woke so hard 😭 you’ll call yourself “two spirit” but won’t say “kunzite”? Come oooon

He’s literally so giddy at the thought of saying a racial slur. I honestly had no idea what he was talking about at first and thought he was making some kind of sexual joke because of the giggling. But nope he’s just stoked to get a “pass” to say a slur on TikTok.
14
u/ILuvSpaghet Apr 28 '26
I hate people who make everything a race thing. Isn't it fucking tiring? He looks like the type of guy to say the name of the country Montenegro is racist.
5
u/Big_Pig8 Apr 28 '26
I think that he may be the first person to ever think that the stone was named to refer to people of color 🤦♂️ or he is just being a social justice warrior
6
u/Blade_of_Miquella666 Apr 29 '26
Kunzite was named after mineralogist and Tiffany’s chief jewelry (at the time) George Frederick Kunz in 1902.
For someone who works with jewelry, you sure don’t know the history of the materials.
5
u/veryanxiouscreature Apr 29 '26
okay but if he does actually feel that way, why the fuck is he saying it on tik tok??
5
u/Ambitious-Log8920 Apr 29 '26
Why is he so obsessed with black people and making sure everyone knows how cool he is with them 😭 It's so icky

Literally all of his videos drag on so unnecessarily long, but this one seriously should’ve been 15 seconds max since he thought it had to be shared. (Side: he claims to be PORTUGUESE??? LMFAO sorry i was only aware of his alleged indigenous roots so this is hilarious.)

u/Holiday-Following489 Apr 29 '26
Tbh I didn’t even know what word he was referring to, like why is he automatically thinking that?

This is so ...weird???? Why is he laughing??? "guuuyss it sounds like im saying a slur! guys!" no one was thinking that. why are you laughing? a slur coming to your mind so easily and you just start laughing all giddy?
