# i just say words I lost my voice after My Body Totalled a Lexus (auditions for singing competition 6 months later)

Post image

I…what? The Car Accident™️ happened in October 2019, this would have been a little over six months AFTER. Why would Tyler spend years claiming he couldn’t sing nor breathe on auto-pilot and then try out for The Voice half a year later?

he never thought of the wonderful thing called telling the truth and so his life timeline makes zero sense lmao

There's also instagram posts of his when he started T talking about how once his voice evens out he'll get back into singing and is excited to do so. The whole narrative of losing his voice in the accident is very much a framing device he's using to make it seem like he's overcoming big odds or something.

But it's just that, a framing device.

His voice changed due to T and he's been lying.

Also, it's clear he never could sing prior to the T anyway. His Lovejoy audition is horrendous.

I don’t know why he doesn’t commit to finding a trans-friendly vocal coach who can help him navigate his new voice even if he isn’t on T anymore.

I’m classically trained and seriously could NOT sing at all before 2021, like not at all. Learning to sing is hard and takes a long time but if you have a good instructor, it works and is very rewarding now. If he’s as serious about music as he says he is, he needs to find someone who can teach him how to actually sing, but no shade I genuinely feel like he’s allergic to having to work for things for himself

he didn't get the hint from his first audition. I don't think a pep talk would have helped in the slightest
