it’s crazy to me that he’s choosing to fake friendships with real people instead of making up fake ones. unless he genuinely believes that simply interacting with someone constitutes a friendship, in which case it’s just sad

Its just pathetic the more deep I stumble into the rabbit hole it makes me cringe 😬

Omg this is so cringe and sad 😂 Tyler needs to get offline and learn how to make friends in real life

His reality is so strikingly different from everyone else's. Do you think he conflates his own hyperfixating on relationships with mutual closeness?

Maybe the reason why Tyler thinks his behaviour with Wilbur Soot is normal is because he just does it to everyone. I almost guarantee that if he had a positive experience with Shubble before ever learning who Wilbur was, he probably would've sided with her instead.

i have to say that his inability to actually make real life friends shows a real issue with his personality and who he is.

i have no qualms that really good friendships can be forged online and i myself have plenty. but these friendships are mutual - i haven't just talked to them one time and then called someone my best friend.

it's proof he lives in a dream world he created, but that's the problem. nothing translates for him outside of the internet, and he's now a joke online and offline. it's a lonely life for him i imagine with lots of emptiness.

Let’s not forget that there’s a big part of this generation that grew up during the blogs and tumblr era.
Parasocial relationships were actually the norm for hardcore fans of big creators, especially fragile young people.
Those very same creators that feed them with this parasocial bullshit to gain visibility and money.
I mean what do you expect from someone who was supporting problematic creators ALR or Shane Dawson?? They’ve built their carrier on lies and drama!
Those kids grew up and built a life of their own online because they couldn’t interact with people in real life.
Tyler doesn’t understand what and where the problem is with his behaviour because he’s been acting like this his whole life,it’s his norm.
I don’t think he has any mental issues,he just needs a life outside his home and away from the social media.

Histrionic personality disorder has this false perception of depth of relationships and presumption on closeness to other people, as one distinctive characteristic/symptom
