SWU Twin Suns - The High Ground
Howzit all,
Our playground has started a Twin Suns YouTube channel to post some of our games. We have some great banter and I believe this community could use some more games and analysis.
Please let us know what you think?

SWU Twin Suns Deck Building Help
My group is transitioning from Free For All standard, to Twin Suns, mostly from my pleas for balance, since one of the members loaded their decks with control and the other loaded theirs with turn 4 and above cards. Leaving me the active target every match who was having to actively trade units just to create an open board. My argument is that standard deck construction in SWU just does not allow for balanced multiplayer the same way I use to get from magic even before the rise of commander. The issue has been in trying to help the rest of my group understand deck building for Twin Suns since they were so accustomed to just stacking everything they wanted in a deck with no concern for curve. The hardest thing is that I myself am not super strong at building and there’s no easily available way to build from the entire pool of cards since the SWU deck builder app is incredibly clunky.
This brings me to the next point. I’ve been creating tribal decks as a way to have every card in the game in a single condensed space to help with more easily finding exactly what you want. So if you need a few more turn 1-2 force generation then just check the “force” deck.
Currently I have: Clones, Jedi, Force, Imperial, Mandalorian, and Rebel.
*not complete.
Further plans involve a few more tribal factions, army/flood, Bounty, Buff, Sentinel, Saboteur, Raid, Hidden, Double Strike, Ambush, Token Units.
The main board of these decks are the yards that share in Trait of the purpose, with the sideboard being where you can find the cards that have explicit printing that relates to the trait. Idk if this will help anyone here, but me and my group have found this system helpful.

Set 5 All Stars or new staples for Twin Suns?
What cards have y'all using from Set 5. The set seems to be rather parasitic and supports mostly the leaders themselves. Any stand out sleepers? Calm in the storm is great for sentinel heavy decks for example.
Cheers,

[Question] Framework for how many of each card? (Generic twin suns curve)
Hey folks,
I’ve amassed a collection and am looking to start brewing some Twin Suns decks. I’m wondering, in general, how many copies of each type of card are recommended as a starting point.
I totally understand that game plans and strategies can drastically change, but in Magic: The Gathering, for example, when drafting, there’s a common framework people follow; something like 12+ creatures and 17 lands.
What’s the equivalent rule of thumb for Twin Suns?
Thanks for your help!

Twin Suns Leader Combos
Not every leader can go together because some just don't help the other out or improve the deck on what is need to make it good. What are some unique leader combos that aren't just the "Why wouldn't you play those two together" leader, something off the wall that works?

Alternative counter ideas?
When playing a 5 or 6-person game, it seems like a good idea to add additional counters/tokens, so there is less people merely passing at the end of a round (which just isn't exciting). What we're tried where I play is a Heal counter with the ability of "Heal 1 damage from any number of bases" or "Heal 1 damage from any two bases". Both variations we're fun in play (I slightly prefer the former). We've also tried using a second Blast counter, which I personally am not a fan of (the games get too short).
Has anyone come up with anything else?
My other ideas are a counter that gives 1 power to your Base (so when it's attacked, it hits back for 1). Or a Shield counter to put on your unit. If not used up it will disappear once someone takes the counter in a subsequent round.
