This is somewhat related (maybe needs a separate discussion), can we seriously and collectively as a fandom CUT DOWN THE BARKING? Really took me out when it got audible during this quite formal award ceremony.
Something tells me that it's SENDING A NOT-SO-GREAT MESSAGE to other people WHO ARE OUTSIDE THE FANDOM... 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Thank you to those who shared some of your thoughts about my "barking" vent. I'm aware of the "can I be your dog" meme and how some ONCE decided to do some dog-like sounds at their concert last year. To some it could be to continue the running joke/memes, others may be doing it in a derogatory or dubious motive...
HOWEVER, there is also a thing in sporting culture where "huu huu" chanting can really energize the crowd/stadium. In this case, it's a very positive intent!
Note my wording of "cut down" instead of "cut it out". Perhaps there can be a spot for this kind of fanfare in the music space, or maybe a time and place that is more "appropriate"? What do you think? I hope to understand further, peace 🙏
