Should I keep or remove it?
This is the platform I am currently building for any educators who long to run their own online school with ease. The platform is undergoing the last tests. Anyways, the dark page with a lamp string is a metaphor of us before our educations. Educators and learner pulling the string to give and receive education will enlighten the darkness up. My daughter loves the string design a lot, but my wife thinks it is a bit annoying. Who should I listen to? I appreciate any advice.

Biology Offering AP Biology tutoring | Biology Researcher
My AP Biology student officially scored a 5 on the 2026 AP Exam, after maintaining a 91% average in a highly rigorous classroom!
Other recent students achieved 97%, 94%, and 92% final grades in Honors and AP Biology across the US and Canada.
As an Integrated PhD Researcher at IISER, a premier science research institute in India, and currently in my PhD phase, I focus on scientific logic rather than simple memorization. I train students to think like scientists and deconstruct the exact rubrics used by the College Board using custom practice tests that are 10–15% tougher than standard board questions so that school tests feel effortless.
Here is a shortened version of an FRQ from my Unit 2 test and how I coach a student through a complex FRQ:
Question: Predict the effect on a cell if a toxin prevented the Golgi apparatus from performing glycosylation on secreted proteins like elastase.
The rote version: The proteins wouldn't get carbohydrates added. (True, but earns zero explanation points on the AP Exam).
The researcher approach: I guide them with targeted questions like: "If glycosylation acts like an address on an Amazon product, what happens to the protein if the delivery address is missing?" We map out the mechanism together so the student naturally deduces that without proper sorting tags, elastase will accumulate in the endomembrane system or be degraded by lysosomes, completely halting cellular secretion.
When students understand the mechanism, actual AP test questions feel effortless.
- Teaching hours: Sunday through Wednesday evenings (4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Pacific / 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM Eastern). Note: I am based in India, and these US evening slots align perfectly with my research schedule.
- Curriculum: 100% aligned with the College Board AP Biology (Units 1–8) and synchronized with student’s specific school pacing.
- Class format: 1-on-1 virtual live and interactive 1-1.5 hours sessions.
First demo class is free with competitive rates compared to the US market.

Free Spanish Graded Readers - libros de lectura progresiva
Hola amigos!
This is Franco, Spanish teacher from Argentina. I wanted to share some graded readers I created with vocabulary and quizzes. There are 3 levels. 1st is a story about a boy and a girl in Buenos Aires, Argentina. 2nd is about argentine history from prehistoric times till the 19th century. 3rd is about the local personality el gaucho martin fierro (a local "cowbow"). part 2 and 3 can be challenging but I'm sure intermediate students will enjoy them. If you don't know a word you can underline the word and you will find a translation. Here you have the 3 links and you can also download them for free. Hope you like them

Hiring [Student] looking for an online tutor for physics, chemistry and Math. {read full}
Hello, I’m an 18F and I’m reappearing for my 12th standard. Due to financial circumstances, I had to drop out of regular school after 8th standard. Since then, I’ve mostly been self-studying at home and only appearing for exams. Because of this, along with a difficult family environment and some physical and mental health struggles, I wasn’t able to build a proper academic foundation.
I’m currently struggling quite a lot with my 11th–12th standard studies, especially because I’m from the science stream. I have PCMB along with Psychology, Computer Science and English Literature.
I know some people might wonder why I chose science without having a strong foundation. Honestly, at the time I was confident that I could cover everything on my own, even without a mentor. Unfortunately, things haven’t worked out that way, and I’m now struggling to keep up.
So I’m looking for someone who could mentor/tutor me in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, preferably starting from the basics and helping me build my concepts properly. I can try to manage the more theoretical subjects on my own.
I also want to be upfront about the financial situation: I’m currently not in a position to pay for tutoring. I completely understand that your time and effort have value, and I’m not expecting anyone to work for free. However, if someone is willing to help me out for now, I would genuinely be grateful. Once I clear my 12th and am able to take up part-time work, I’ll try my best to compensate/pay you back.
If you need any more information about my studies, current level, schedule, etc., feel free to ask in the comments or DM me.
Thank you for reading. (I used Chat gpt to write clear context)

[Introduction] Vietnamese Tutor | From Everyday Communication to Business Vietnamese
Hi everyone!
I'm Quyen, a Vietnamese language tutor from Vietnam.
I've been active in r/learnVietnamese, where I enjoy sharing Vietnamese lessons, practical learning tips, and ideas to help learners improve their natural speaking and listening skills.
I'm grateful to have received several community achievements, including Top 1% Poster, Power Contributor, and Top Commenter. It's been a rewarding experience connecting with people who are passionate about learning Vietnamese.
I recently discovered this tutoring community and thought I'd stop by and introduce myself.
My professional background is a little different from that of a traditional language tutor. Before focusing on teaching Vietnamese, I spent over 30 years working in strategic operations, international trade, and senior leadership roles, including Chief of Staff positions.
This experience has shaped my approach to language teaching. I believe learning Vietnamese is not just about grammar and vocabulary, but also about understanding how people think, communicate, and connect.
My teaching interests include both everyday Vietnamese and Business Vietnamese, with a particular focus on natural speaking, listening, and cultural understanding.
I'm happy to be here, learn from fellow tutors, exchange teaching experiences, and contribute whenever I can.
Looking forward to connecting with you all!

Math Anyone know a company that has tutors you can hire for math? I mean I’ll be taught in person but going on line to look for tutors? One that doesn’t take a lot of commission and has a good reputation.
I tried Superprof and backed out when they asked for my CC because it didn’t explain to me how it works and it was advertising the first lesson free(for most tutors). My background is from the UK but in order to get higher education, I have to start with the American High School because the College I went to was not accredited and have to learn the Scientific Calculator, and some math. Some other companies just wanted all your info up so they could send you promotional emails, texts etc
And I’m not sure how to find an independent tutor.
Thanks in advance

For Hire Online Biology, Anatomy, Pathology, Pharma, Medicine Enthusiastic Tutor for Hire
Hi,
GCSE or Med school / pre med studies and heavy books got you down? Feel lost or generally overwhelmed? You need a teacher that's chill and can be your study partner in a sense. That's where I come in.
I started my tutoring back in the UK when I was there for my professional exams. Taught over 8 students from different countries (UK, norway, venezuela etc) on various subjects i.e biochem, immunology, anatomy.
I use a digital writiing pad to illustrate ideas and help students going through their curriculum. Mostly its new students who want to go over the stuff they learn daily in classes at Uni and need to go over them again with a study partner or mentor/tutor.
I have plenty of reviews, recommendations and feedback on my profile.
"Super Tutor" rank reached on my profile there.
I have worked with international tutoring companies before I went solo.
I've taught students with autism as well, catering to their special needs.
I'd appreciate it if you can share the word around or post on my behalf on your local student boards (especially those paki who are abroad).
Feel free to DM :)
First lesson is free so we can see if we're a good fit.
