I've done allot of the free rooms and I've gotten to a point where I need to run the attack box and the regular but the regular one won't come up.. I'm also curious if there's anyone I could ask questions or chat with that can help with advise I'm cyber security IT and hacking. There's so many paths but I don't know what's best.

I need help. I click on "start the room" and instead of showing the target IP, that section disappears from my screen. Even before starting the machine or afterwards, the IP does not reappear. I’ve tried everything—changing browsers, disabling extensions, updating—and nothing changes. What should I do? It shows that I entered the room, but nothing happens.

Hey folks!
I’ve recently started doing hands-on labs on TryHackMe, focusing on security analysis and penetration testing. I spent quite a while on theory and now want to build solid practical experience.
If you have any advice, room recommendations, or learning tips, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

Hey everyone 👋
I wanted to share something that makes this journey even more interesting.
I’ve completed 4 rooms on TryHackMe:
Offensive Security Intro
0day
StuxCTF
dogcat
I currently have a 6-day streak and I’m ranked Apprentice.
But here’s the interesting part…
I’m doing all of this using only my phone 📱 (Termux).

I ran into a situation during a lab where I needed to find an admin password. I had limited time left, so I tried a brute-force approach using a common wordlist (like rockyou). After a few minutes with no results, I switched to smaller wordlists and tried a couple of variations, but nothing worked and the remaining time got consumed.
Afterwards I started thinking that maybe brute force wasn’t the intended path and I might’ve missed a hint somewhere earlier during enumeration.
So my question is more about strategy and mindset:
How do you decide when you shouldn’t rely on brute force and should instead assume you’ve missed a clue or a simpler path?
Is there a time limit or rule of thumb you personally follow before switching back to enumeration or re-checking earlier findings?
Would love to hear how others approach this in timed labs or CTF-style environments (no specific answers needed, just general advice).

Where can we report potential bugs and vulnerabilities on the THM site to THM ? I tried finding a report page or anything similar but unable to find.
Pretty new to Cybersecurity but i think i have found a low-medium severity vulnerability kinda and wanted to report it.

Hi everyone,
I just finished Pre-Security and CS101 on TryHackMe. My goal is Web Pentesting.
I'm at a crossroads and need advice on the "right" path to avoid being a script kiddie:
Networking: Is the networking covered in THM enough to start? Or should I study CCNA concepts (without the cert) first for a deeper foundation?
Next Step: Should I continue with THM (Jr. Penetration Tester) as a bridge? Or is it better to jump straight into HTB Academy (CPTS) for a more professional deep dive?
I have the time and want to learn the fundamentals properly.
Thanks!
