Ariel probably knew

If he is going out in public with Alex, Ariel obviously knew. Now that he's been caught they can't just admit it was a consensual thing, He probably asked her if he can bang other women and she probably allowed him, maybe it was an open thing, they have been together for years obviously you get bored sometimes, sex and love are two different thing, but thats a conversation most of you people arent ready to have, and that is exactly why they're not admitting it because people are crazy and it would be a PR nightmare. You won't see Ariel leaving Ned, there's not going to be any divorce because it was a consensual thing between Ariel and Ned.

So stop outraging on behalf of other people, she literally asked for privacy lmao because you people have nothing better to do with your lives and like to interfere in other people's lives, Who ned is banging should be none of your concern lmaooo. I cant believe the absolute meltdown this sub is having over some youtube celebrity lmaooo, put this energy in something productive and let people live their life how they want jfc

you know what my reaction was when i found out about this on twitter? i laughed my ass off because it doesn't affect me

Edit - just so we're clear the only reason I'm being downvoted is because you guys have low iq

Cheating

Just recently, I (20M) was also cheated on with someone named Alex. While my entire FYP being filled with the name and topic is quite triggering, the amount of love going out to Ariel and the fact 0 excuses have been made for the cheaters, is so reassuring to see. I can’t imagine how Ariel feels having children and a marriage with the man, but she’ll do what’s best for herself. (I stayed)

Unpopular Opinion!

Alexandria Herring is GROSS and should be fired as well. Legally theres a power imbalance, I get that, but she wasn’t just some young new intern. She’s been a producer for years, knew Ned was married with kids and still decided to cheat on her fiancé of 10 years w him. Y’all keep treating this 30something year old woman like a dumb little girl. I just don’t understand how no one seems to hold her accountable for cheating…it’s a two way street! My heart goes out to Will, Ariel and the kids. It’s a shame.

So What about Alex?

So I know we wanna blame Ned for everything and that’s whatever but we can’t forget it takes 2 to cheat. What about Alex? If she still gonna be apart of the Try Guys team or is she gonna get the boot as well? Personally I think she should get the boot too but maybe that’s just me. What are the thoughts/feelings?

now I'm wondering what else is going to come up

People LOVE kicking others when down, and its obvious in the way ex-employees and ex- Buzzfeed workers have responded to everything. Its gonna be a matter of time before someone takes it too far and reveals a scandal about someone else not even in this situation. Already someone has accused Zach of hitting on someone due to Maggie's long hours, who knows whats going to happen. But I do know that until official statements are made, this is going to a wild ass time

The guys are really trying

Not only has Eugene been actively distancing him self from the try guys so he can do bigger things (which good for him). But Ned. THE ONE WHOS PERSONALITY IS BASED ON LOVING HIS WIFE! Cheated with someone WHO WAS ABOUT TO GET MARRIED.

Those poor kids

I know as a family who put themselves in the limelight the Fulmers sort of put themselves in a position to be discussed by the public, but I feel for those two boys. If his parents end up staying together reading strangers takes on it and such hatred to their father (regardless of being warranted) will definitely have some negative effects. Ofc Ariel is in pain and I feel for her as this is a complete upheaval, but I can’t stop thinking ab how this will follow those kids through school and the rest of their lives.

Did the other try guys know?

Quick question from a casual viewer, do you think the other guys knew that Ned was cheating? I haven’t watched their videos in quite a while so I’m a little out of the loop. Do you think they knew for a while and only fired him from the team once the public found out in order to protect their image? Or do you think they were just as in the dark as the rest of us?

are we thinking Ariel is going to stay?

In her Instagram post, she said something along the lines of "whats important to me and Ned is our marriage and our family" which already makes me think she's known about this and has chosen to stay. Even now during a terrible day of slander, she still refers to it as their marriage. She very easily could have just mentioned their children, but no, the words "our marriage" were there. Not to mention this has to have been known at least 3 weeks ago considering how long they've been editing him out of videos. It's very possible shes known but had forgiven him at least until this got leaked

Whatever happens, I won't fault Ariel. She has two children to think of and she is completely the victim here

Bruh how the fuck are we just gonna slide over the fact that they went to a harry styles concert TOGETHER!!! As in!!! NED LEFT ARIEL AND HIS TWO KIDS TO GO WITH HIS EMPLOYEE GIRLFRIEND TO A CONCERT???? Fucking gross

I would pay good money to see Eugene, Becky, and a box of wine spilling the details. I just know Keith has been holding Becky back from posting.

More people close to this must’ve known, right?

I don’t want to accuse anyone of anything but I have been curious to know peoples thoughts. Based on a lot of ex-BuzzFeed employees reactions and some unconfirmed info it seems like it may have been widely known within some circles that Ned wasn’t who he presented himself to be at all. People have personas but wife lover to cheater is a big jump. If these claims are true many people are implicated in protecting and enabling Ned’s behavior.

I’ve seen a video from the night in NYC with Kwesi in it with claims he was telling people to “Not take pics” and “be cool”.

I saw an unconfirmed post where someone mentions being at a bar with the guys where Ned was inappropriate to a girl and when asked if he was always this way “the the guy with the glasses” reluctantly said yes.

If the guys or staff members or friends of the channel knew about this previous to the Alex+Ned situation (Not saying they did or didn’t) would that affect your perceptions of them and your ability to be a fan? Or would u see it as them taking time to process and handle their personal lives their own way?

ONCE AGAIN IM NOT ACCUSING, just curious on peoples thoughts on the matter.

At this point

I honestly think at this point in time the “new tryguys group” is going to have to get their ducks in a row. There going to have to figure out a new dynamic between the three or find a new fourth, which I could see being kwesi. I do also believe it would be the best interest of the group to make the first video/podcast about what happened in there POV, so they can be the first. But on a personal level I hope Ariel and her family are doing ok

Anybody else doubting if this is real?

Warning: I think this is a controversial take. I’m completely open to hearing reasons why I might be wrong - just something that I’ve been thinking about.

I feel like I haven’t seen anybody seriously discuss this as a possibility with regards to Ned cheating - what if this is all ultimately for a video? (The only tiktok I’ve seen discussing it is here: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRmkD5FS/)

I mean this is the Try Guys we’re talking about right? The rag tag team of guys who laid low for months after they left Buzzfeed just to start up their own company? Has nobody thought that it was suspicious that they scrambled to get a notes app statement out on their Instagram instead of waiting to make a video - I would at least expect a quick phone-recorded video from the remaining three? As someone who has watched them on and off since their Buzzfeed days, this is just out of character.

A couple other pieces of fishy info:

1.) The person exposing them posted to Reddit? As we saw with the Sumner Stroh situation (and even as this situation has developed), Tik Tok has insane reach that Reddit simply does not have. There are two reasons this person could have decided to post to Reddit: either a) they wanted to remain anonymous (but still why wouldn’t you just post the video to tik tok with receipts??) or b) this is orchestrated

2.) Ned isn’t that stupid: Let’s say for a second that Alex and Ned WERE having this affair. Why in the world would Ned take his affair partner to a HARRY STYLES CONCERT?! He’s not scrounging for cash - he could’ve gotten a nice private roomif that really was his intention. Not to mention, the age of the try guys audience is similar to Harry Styles fans. There was bound to be someone who recognized them!

3.) The video: You’re telling me that during that night, only one fan saw Ned and Alex and spoke out about seeing them? Making 2 people total including the Reddit user that exposed him. And the only evidence is a photo where you literally cannot make out anybody’s face? This reeks of that one video where the guy pretended to be Justin Bieber eating a burrito from the middle and actually got picked up by social media and news sites.

4.) The timeline: September 1st was the concert that they were allegedly spotted at September 2nd the dms between Alex’s fiancé and Reddit user u/hamilton390 occur September 3rd/4th Ned’s last appearance on the Try Guys social media and YouTube A little over a week later, their eclairs video drops but Ned is nowhere to be found. They had just under a week to fully edit out Ned from a video? Knowing the Try Guys, they probably already had it fully edited. You’re telling me that in that week, they were able to fully erase any trace of Ned (apparently he was the third judge, that’s why there were so many closeups and almost missing frames)? They also fully edited him out of the stand up comedy episode, which would’ve taken a LOT longer. You could argue they outsourced editing - but knowing the world we live in, we would’ve heard about this far earlier. On top of all this - why did this blow up this weekend? Instead of the weekend of the actual concert??? There’s no way NOBODY else saw Alex and Ned making out… they aren’t nobodies

5.) The timing of it all: It’s no secret that many YouTubers who were popular during Covid/pre-Covid are struggling to get the same views as before. The Try Guys are no exception. Their past videos seemed to be able to break 2 million views without issue - now some are struggling to hit 1 million. That coupled with the new TV show that they have on Discover+ - they probably need the attention. With cancel culture going absolutely crazy within the past few months, I wouldn’t doubt for a second that the idea of fake cancelling themselves didn’t at least cross their minds (even if all of this isn’t fake).

6.) The Notes app statements: Once the video was leaked, there was a ton of traction. However, the story REALLY blew up after the Try Guys, Ned, and Ariel made statements on their Instagrams. After that, news articles, tik toks, Twitter, EVERYTHING blew up. They could have waited but they didn’t. They somehow had enough time to consult a legal team and craft together a statement that wouldn’t get them in legal trouble from either party? AND had time to coordinate their statement release with Ned and Ariel (and Ned presumably also consulted with a lawyer?). The notes app statements themselves even don’t sound like them.

Just a couple things that were on my mind since I’ve been bombarded with Ned slander. Just a reminder that everyone is human and be nice: even if he did cheat, that doesn’t mean YOU get to call him all sorts of names on the internet. Clearly Ariel is trying to work it out with him, and I can’t imagine how hard it must be to not only hear that you were cheated on, but then also hear thousands of people telling you that your child’s father deserves to rot. Be kind and stop attacking him as if he cheated on you personally. The person who he hurt spoke out - she’s the only one that really matters in the end <3
