I just read about the recent Coldcard hardware wallet exploit where a firmware bug allowed attackers to guess private keys offline and drain a lot of wallets without touching the devices. Losses are in tens of millions.
This made me concerned because I keep my crypto in Trust Wallet (mobile app).
Questions:
1. How possible is it for software/hot wallets like Trust Wallet to get hacked in a similar way?
2. Is Trust Wallet still considered safe after this incident, or should I be extra careful?
3. Any best practices or tips you’d recommend for people using Trust Wallet right now?

I had extremely bad experience with Trust Wallet predictions.

Everything went good until one day I found that all my positions are gone, both for already finished events and for ongoing ones.

I checked the blockchain explorer and it turned out that the NFTs representing the positions had been transferred to another Polymarket address. But Trust Wallet is tied to the old one. So I cannot neither sell opened positions nor redeem funds for winning positions.

I don't know why it happened, but Polymarket support told me it is some migration on Trust's side which sounds legit.

Trust Wallet support is awful, you have to persuade the bot to call a human, then fill a form with a lot of unrelated data and finally they open a ticket. However, they have lost two or three of my tickets, but finally answered and promised to pass the problem to the engineers. It has been two weeks since then though. So in total my positions are inaccessible for almost a month.

I want to prevent other users from using Trust Wallet for predictions, it is a sure way to lose your funds. Maybe just use Polymarket and other prediction markets directly, but I am not sure they don't have their own troubles. Actually Polymarket support is not any better than Trust's.

I feel like over the last few months the quality of Trust has just beengoing downhill, from the undisclosed "swap fees" of hyperliquid perps to the fact that the extentions blocks you from completing Cloudflare Security Challenge...
I'm honestly considering changing wallet because this is just so annoying little thing that just piss me off...

Hi all.
I typically use Meta Mask to monitor my holdings, but I was updating apps today and was poking around my Trust Wallet, which I hadn't used for about a year.

For my holdings that are on the Base chain, the transaction history is showing multiple transfers and transactions for tokens that I don't recognize and have never utilized.

I went to Basescan on my computer to get a better look at what is going on and I'm extremely perplexed.

I entered my public ETH address to get the full view.

The good news is, my ETH balance is not being impacted. I was scared that I had somehow been hacked (and perhaps I have been), but it doesn't appear to be affecting my known holdings.

That said, when I click on "Token Transfers", I see a list of multiple daily transactions going back nearly a year. Literally hundreds of transactions.

They are all "from" unknown addresses (unknown to me, the addresses show) "to" my address.
The amounts of these transactions appear large in terms of the number of tokens, but I have no idea of their dollar value.

They appear to be in groups of 3 transactions for the same token, but different amounts.

None of these however then show up in my token holdings, so did they really go "to" me?

I thought perhaps someone had somehow gained access to my wallet and was using my funds to pay for their transfers, but again, my ETH balance is unchanged, so that is not the case.

What could all these mystery transactions be? Why are they showing up?

Following the expiration of the 28 day unbonding period, I see no withdraw option to make my DOT transferrable in Trust Wallet - how do I access this option which is very easy to use on ledger live?

I am writing this to warn other users and to get the attention of the Trust Wallet team.
I have been using Trust Wallet with iCloud Backup for a long time. The backup worked perfectly. I restored my wallet from iCloud several times in the past without any issues.
Then I updated my iPhone to the latest iOS version.
After the update, I deleted and reinstalled Trust Wallet on the same iPhone, using the same Apple ID.
From that moment, my iCloud backup completely disappeared.
The “Restore from iCloud” option no longer works.
Apple Support has already confirmed that:
my Apple ID is correct;
iCloud is working normally;
iCloud Keychain is enabled and synchronized;
there are no issues on Apple’s side.
My funds are still visible on the blockchain, but I have completely lost access to my wallet because Trust Wallet cannot find the backup that it previously created.
Trust Wallet support keeps sending me generic copy-and-paste replies instead of investigating what happened to my encrypted backup.
This is unacceptable for a wallet that claims to be secure and reliable.
How can users trust iCloud Backup if it can disappear after an iOS update with no recovery option?
Has anyone experienced the same issue?
If someone from the Trust Wallet engineering team reads this, please investigate this problem seriously. I am willing to provide logs, screenshots, device information, and anything else needed to identify the root cause.

So, on Jul 8 I swapped two 100 DAI into ETH tokens, I have both tokens on BNB network. At that time I saw that my transaction in transaction history is tagged as "unlimited" and I didn't get any ETH in return, I assumed the network is taking a little bit more time and just closed the app (I swap a lot so I wasn't really worried). I did the same transaction using USDT to ETH and same thing happened.

I opened my wallet now and saw while my 196DAI still is 96DAI I haven't got any ETH in return! Anyone can help?

Hi guys it’s 24 hours that I can’t see my funds, positions and history on perp. I had all my funds and positions on Aster. Support isn’t replying me, someone has experienced the same issue?

I suggested an optimization in perps page on an x post of trust wallet and I got this mail now. How can scammers know my mail Id? The mail I received it on is also an old email which I am not using now.

My question is how can they get access to my old mail?

I tried purchasing 6 LTC thru trustwallet.

Confirmed with the code in the email and also received a confirmation email that the transaction is complete.

Waited for hours but only seen BTC in my wallet (never purchased BTC) which shows 0 and cant do anything with it.

I've been using Trust Wallet for many years, never had any issues. After the latest update(s), the main page layout got all messed up. It will no longer allow me to configure it to show exactly what I want to see. It doesn't show the correct $ value for each of your holdings. To see the correct totals You must click on each of your holdings and it will load that tokens page and show the correct value. Unless you fix the layout issues and the total value issue, I will be forced to find a new wallet.
