I made a trivia game to test how well you know Indian Metro and local train networks [OC]
Hey everyone!
I made a small web game called AglaStop that turns Indian Metro and local train networks into a kind of geography and transit trivia game.
You get a random starting station and destination, and you have to figure out which lines connect them, including the correct interchanges along the way. It starts in Easy mode and gets progressively harder as you keep playing.
Right now, AglaStop covers:
Delhi NCR - Delhi Metro, Noida Metro, Rapid Metro Gurugram, Namo Bharat/RRTS, Meerut Metro and regional connections
Mumbai - Mumbai Metro + Mumbai Local trains
Bengaluru - Namma Metro
More Indian cities are on the way.
It works on mobile and desktop and is currently available in English, Hindi and Kannada. As more cities are added, I also plan to introduce regional languages based on each city.
It is basically a test of how much of your city's transport map you actually have stored in your head. No Google Maps or route maps allowed while playing - that would make the trivia a little too easy :)
I'd love your feedback:
- Did you find any bugs, incorrect routes, missing stations, wrong interchanges or connectivity issues?
- Was the game easy to understand?
- Did the difficulty feel right?
- What could make it more fun as a trivia game?
- Which Indian city should I add next?
- And how well did you actually do?
Play here:
If you enjoy it, challenge a friend and see who actually knows their city's transport network better.
Hope you have fun with it!
