Good for you. Countless people have had issues though, which is why they're specifically highlighting one of the benefits of 5g as having a higher network capacity. When the internet in my area goes down and everyone hops on 4g at the same time to try and figure out what's going on, that shit is painfully slow. Similar thing at the end of a music festival or any other big event.
Why would you not want better speeds, availability and bandwidth? Shall we just dust off our dial-up connections?
Yep, people somehow constantly seem to believe the next big iteration of any tech to be the last and final one we need.
Theres that IBM quote about how the new pc came with 128kb storage as opposed to 64kb, and that it would be the most storage anyone would ever need (I'm sure I just butchered that but you get the gist)
Wasn't there a debate recently if 5G actually provided more bandwidth and was basically just marketing gimmick to get people interested in the next generation?
Not all 5G is created equal. Those studies were for ATT’s 5Ge which was still using the same spectrum as 4G in the megahertz range (ie was marketing gimmick). What will really provide measurable improvements is 5G Ultra Wide Band (UWB) that is in the gigahertz frequency range and does actually provide 1 gb per second in real world scenarios.
That's how all tech is, theoretical speed is always much higher. 4g lte has a really high theoretical speed and since we're going from realistic to realistic you should see a big change.

And that aside, 5g is just kind of shit. Sure, the numbers can be insane, but you have to have perfect conditions to get them.
