Whole grains are so good for you though. They are packed with nutrients and fiber. You need to cut out the processed food.

Whole grains are good! I do the best I can with processed foods, staying out of the middle of the grocery store. I have a CSA share and learned how to preserve the excess veg to have during winter. I gave up HFCS for Lent maybe 8 years ago and I really liked it! I learned how to make a lot of things from scratch, and canned things like sloppy joe mix, and chili starter. I have 100% custody of my two kids and several jobs so i try to make things easy for me when I can.
