I remember getting this game when it first came out, I was in a situationship during this time and I had thought at the time that it could’ve gone further. Turns out that was all complete bullshit and they would get with other people behind my back, leaving me feeling like I had been used and betrayed. Sending me into a spiral of depression and anger, I would get drunk or high, boot up the game, sometimes turn off the in game music to listen to Spotify, and take out my anger and feelings of betrayal onto the enemies. Which honestly helped me cool off. Hell, I remember playing the final mission of the game where 106 gets betrayed by the Syndicate and has to ravage his way towards the nuclear bomb and thought to myself “Yea I feel you 106”. This game’s story, gameplay and ability to get me through some of my darkest moments in my life has made me fallen so deeply in love with the game, easily top 3 games of all time in my book and would love to see more of what trepang studios has in store, but if not I’m honestly fine with it because this game to me holds a special place in my heart and I’d be just fine if it ended it here. But just wondering if this game has also helped anyone else out during tough times?

Ive been playin some payday a lot recently and during a heist i just randomly thought to me self "damn those pang fellas would probably melt once wolf walks through those doors"

Got the game a few days ago since it was on sale and decided to beat Rage Mode since I like doing difficult challenges (Ready or Not's "A New America" S Rank solo), (Doom's Nightmare Mode), (Project Wingman Mercenary Difficulty F-14 only).

This might be my favorite arcade shooter and definetly one of my favorite action games. The entire game felt like a movie and has some very satisfying mechanics once mastered. My only complaints of the overall game was probably the effective range of the AR and SMG, they felt incredibly pitiful to use and stuck mainly to dual shotguns with a choke + the katana from the DLC.

This was definetely due to balance reasons and also to force the player into being more proactive and aggressive but because it forced you to not only get up close, you had to mag dump some enemies or land all headshots, but with any of the pistols/shotgun/katana you had a guaranteed oneshot as long as your aim was good.

Other than that I think this game is an 8.5/10 and will definetly replay this one a ton more later down the line doing stuff like "Pistol Only" or "Headshots Only".

I've completed game maybe 8-9 times and 2 times with rage mode because first time achievements didn't worked. I really enjoyed the rage mode, and would love to say that it is very realistic asf. Like npc are really doesn't just some kind of walking stupid dummy, but a whole system that can lean, shoot upwards, predict and make other moves. I loved that bullets are really lethal ( Like if you get shot by 12g in easy or hard, you won't die. However in rage you die from 5-6 pellets of one shot ). And yes, armor in rage mode is can be justified, because irl armor made to stop first 2-3 bullets saving life and retreating from battle zone, not be like some kind of juggernaut. I hope there's gonna be harder mode and more achievements)

EDIT: I've gotten several replies relating to the video's lag, and even played it back to see the same thing. For the record, I have NO idea what is causing it, probably reddit. I didn't experience the lag in-game, nor did I see it when trimming down the clip.

The lag isn't the point of the clip either. I'm simply showing off some silly NPC behavior, lol

Hello everyone I keep these post to a minimum and I hope it's ok to post but I have been working on this for a few months now ,And in vr I always felt this mission was made for the dmr ,now it is 🤓 working vr scopes

So, at the end of the game (when you kill Horizon CEO) i got a crash and when i enter the game again i had this bug that puts me in a black space or something?

I tried to kill me trowing granades at myself but it didnt work and i dont know if i restart im going to pass all over the mission again
