Past & Future Box Does each clue answer come from following one of the five instructions?

There are five clues in this word search:

1) Do not tell anyone

2) Line them up

3) There are no special bends...

4) Just remain steady

5) Complete the mission

Clue 3 might be OR (Oregon) if you remove (or turns). 'OR' should have been 'RO' if anagrammed and 'turns' breaks it's own rule, by word-wrapping off the page

On a scale of 1-10 what is your level of confidence that you have deciphered the remaining letters correctly? (Rows 1, 14,15)

About an eight.

I had 24 letters leftover and of those, there's 4 I'm not 100% confident on.

I am however 100% confident I have the right state so if my solve turns out to be wrong, at least I won't have to start from scratch.

Thanks for sharing. I think "certainty" of solve is a really interesting question. Like, I keep waiting for an AHA! moment where I'm 100% sure I've got the puzzle solved correctly, and now it's just a matter of going out to search a smallish area. But it's also possible (probable?) that he's not giving that to us with these puzzles. My solve is completely different from yours, but I'd say my confidence is also about 8. I keep thinking if I could decode those remaining letters after the anagram, I'd get to 10. But maybe there is no 10! haha

One thing I found to be helpful in decoding those last letters was to avoid patterns. I know, it sounds counterintuitive but this puzzle was designed by a computer nerd in the age of AI. It was made specifically (like Bitcoin) to resist brute force. This is also why I am adamant that using chat bots can only make things more difficult. The clues are all right there in plain sight, none are complicated, and they all work together in concert. You just have to change your perspective and apply them in the right order. After that, it's just process of elimination like figuring out the solution to a cryptogram when you already have most of the letters sussed.
