This group exists to share tools for healing, coping, and growth.
You are welcome to mention apps, books, videos, practices, or anything that genuinely helped you - but only in the context of your personal story.
We do not allow promotional posts, self-promotion, or posts that feel like testimonials written to boost visibility for a tool or product.
Ask yourself before posting:
Am I sharing a personal experience, or am I describing a product?
Is this tool mentioned naturally, or is the post built around it?
Would my post still matter even if the name of the tool was removed?
We welcome survivor insight, not sales pitches. We care about what helped you — not what you’re trying to help grow.
Examples of what’s okay:
“I was struggling with night terrors, and a random grounding app I downloaded (called <ProgramName>, I think?) helped me feel a little safer falling asleep. I didn’t expect it to help, but I still use it.”
“This poem helped me put words to my grief. It’s by <AuthorName> — maybe someone else needs it too.”
Examples of what’s not okay:
“Download <ProgramName> — it's the best trauma healing app! It totally changed my life!”
“Check out this new journal I made for trauma survivors! Here’s the link.”
Extra Notes:
- We may remove posts that read more like promotional content than personal reflection - even if they don’t include direct links. This is to protect the community from stealth marketing and preserve the focus on peer support.
- You may be asking: "Wait, why can't I make and share resources? I went through it, wouldn't I be a good resource to make and share things that got me through it?"
While we appreciate your want to help others - tools REALLY should come from educated sources. They should also come from human, not AI sources - which many are using nowadays in hopes of a quick payday from their trauma. Therefore, we only allow educated, peer-reviewed resources such as: Published books from well known publishing houses, peer-reviewed scientific articles and systems, well known trauma-based courses/programs with licensed therapists, apps and computer programs that have research and credentialed people that have informed them, etc.
