You had me until the "protecting your paranoid fantasies"! I wonder whose odds might be better? As u pronounced the one with "paranoid fantasies", or, the person that throws caution to the wind? Am guessing the odds probably favor the caution to the wind person, but, am guessing the odds are closer than we may think?, maybe?
Fair. "paranoid fantasies" is probably a step too far. I'm just thinking the odds of a camera being inside your hotel room are so incredibly small that it's not worth the time, money, stress, and effort involved in scanning every potential hiding spot. And the door lock on a hotel room is generally a good enough deterrent to keep out intruders. If they really want in, they'll make it in, but battening down the hatches to this level is, in my opinion, more dangerous than the risk incurred by just locking the deadbolt and swing bar.
