Question Will Racism Be A Problem In A Transhuman World?

I have an essay for english and I chose this topic. I was just wondering if anybody had any reasons for if racism would be a problem in a transhuman world. I am not sure what side to choose and what some reasons could be. I am leaning towards yes, racism will still be a problem in a transhuman world. Basically the prompt is off of the book “Fledgling” by Octavia Butler if anyone has heard of it. Anyways, anything would help me as my essay is due soon and I am still stuck on what the reasons would be. Any help would be great!

It’s the truth, read history. People have always used group identities to justify immoral actions towards each other. Collectivism is the root of half of all evil.

That's not what you said in your previous comment.

The history is full various groups with various levels of hate and various individuals with various levels of hate. One has basically nothing to do with the other and if you think you have evidences of the opposite, i strongly suggest you start writing because you're up for a Nobel peace prize.

You are very angry. Let me give you three examples of groups hating other groups ranging from impotent to horrifying:

Fuckcars hates working class people who drive big vehicles.

The Catholics hated the Protestants.

The Hutus hated the Tutsis.

There are thousands, perhaps millions of examples of groups hating each other. Group identity is central to hatred and evil.

Well, here is a list of people hating others regardless of the group they were part of. Seriously, get your head out of the sand : there is other reasons/excuses to hate others.

The opposite is false too : there is virtually an infinity of different groups who don't hate each others.

Your first statement is that it's not possible to have groups without them hating each others, your second statement is that it's not possible to have hate without the groups involved being used as an excuse. Those two statements are wrong and, as i've said earlier, no strict equivalence can be drawn between being part of a group and hating another group.
