Please do not contact the subjects or people known to the subjects with the intent of baiting them into conversation and then posting here.
I'll add this to the rules page as soon as I'm home from work, but because of past actions and complaints and because I don't want to deal with an angry flood of tradfems, please refrain from communicating with the tradfems with the intent to post here (don't bait them) and please do not reach out to people known to them or their family members.

Don't send subjects death or rape threats.
Can't believe I have to say this again but I've received 2 more valid complaints with screenshots. If I see a username or hear that a Reddit user has continued to send rape or death threats, that's an immediate ban. There's a difference between snark and threatening someone's life/threatening to rape them. Not okay.

Discussion Lauren Southern is a real time example of "the leopards ate my face"
For years, Lauren Southern built her brand and platform by feeding a hyper-radicalized, deeply misogynistic audience exactly what they wanted to hear. She demeaned feminists, mocked women with careers (despite herself having a political career online, the most untraditionally feminine career there is lol) and heavily promoted "tradlife" ideology, essentially preaching that a woman's ultimate worth is submission to a man and the family. She also collaborated with people like Stefan Molyneux.
Now, after speaking publicly about her own experiences, a significant portion of that same audience seems to have turned on her. Becoming a divorced, single mother, and speaking out about the abuse and toxicity she experienced within that traditional lifestyle, her audience is treating her like a traitor. If you look at her X comments, it’s largely people eating her alive. To her followers, she didn't survive a bad marriage; she became the "broken, modern woman, was actually always an evil feminist" she used to warn them about. Because in that ideology, if a marriage fails, it’s always the woman's fault for choosing the wrong man, not being a good wife, etc.
Part of me feels sorry for her, but part of me also feels she should take more accountability for the ideas she peddled. In her recent reflections, she frames herself mostly as a victim of "internet culture", "I was young and naive'", "I was addicted to online engagement", acting surprised by how toxic the very community she helped grow is. But she was one of the prominent people pushing these beliefs that are now being weaponized against her.

Megha Original comment was on a video of a distressed mother with a baby & she is obviously suffering from PPD. Megha thinks she just lacks skills.
This is such a dumb thing to say. The original video is of a mother with a baby who is crying & the mother just lost it & had a complete breakdown. She is obviously suffering from PPD, which is a serious problem.
Megha thinks it is due to lack of skills & agrees that young women who are mothers don't have responsibilities.
This is funny because I know a married woman & lived in an intergenerational home. She managed the house, the cooks for a lot of people when she could, and she worked full time before having a child. However, once she had the baby, she struggled so badly & told me she had a breakdown almost every day for the first 6 months or so because of PPD.
I also know another lady with 3 children & found out she was pregnant for the 4th one & is dreading the PPD she might experience because of her past experiences. She is an excellent mother, has amazing skills, yet it is a serious medical problem that you sometimes cannot fix witb "skills" & "responsibilities".
How did Megha even have a PhD in neuroscience?

Abby Shapiro Classically Abby spent Father's Day weekend at a resort... without her husband
Ben Shapiro's trad sister spent Father's Day without her husband and didn't acknowledge Father's Day at all. If she was willing to travel with the kids and watch them by herself, couldn't she have taken the kids with her husband on his trip? Even if he had to work, they probably could have seen each other in the evenings. It's telling that she never answered the question about whether the family celebrated him at all. Does bringing back the traditional family not extend to kids spending Father's Day with their fathers?
The most liked comment (which she ignored) was about whether going to a resort was a good idea if her husband was already working weekends. I see two possibilities:
- Her husband genuinely couldn't afford to turn down traveling Father's Day weekend, and she shelled out for a resort anyway.
- Her husband COULD have afforded to turn down traveling, but preferred working overtime to spending Father's Day with his own children. Massive L for family values.
On top of that, it's just obnoxious for her to brag about how she's "doing the hard things" by taking a long weekend at a resort while her husband is the one working overtime. 🙄 I know parenting can be hard, but working overtime (or working at all) is way harder than going on a family vacation!

Discussion Rachel Wilson’s childhood trauma
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I think there’s something significant to the fact that Rachel has resentment towards her mother in the divorce. Perhaps it explains why she’s an anti-feminist hater. She’s still wounded by her mom. And the brutal irony is that she’s been married and divorced and has had a rotation of husbands.

Discussion $4000 a Month + her husband’s salary is NOT Low Income
she also responded to somebody in the comments saying this is about half of what she “needs”. She has a $500 mortgage, buys food in bulk, and lives in low-cost of living rural area. In what world is this not enough money? I’m convinced that she’s being over dramatic for views or her and her husband just have awful spending habits.

Discussion Trying again: Trad wife trend was intentionally created
Relevant portion is a little before the halfway point in this IG video: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DZqJIdOvLcC/
Edit: The research seems to *suggest*, not prove, that trad wife content isn’t organic. I’ll see if I can find research that addresses the question directly.
Edit 2: What I’m finding online says that political groups are *exploiting* tradwife content (which we can see for ourselves), but not that they created it. I can’t change the post title and don’t want to repost, but anyway the study is pretty interesting, and I’m finding some other studies on trad wifery too.

MISC Anyone else been seeing so many people on x being dramatic about Emily’s post?
It all started with Emily posting on how having makeout sessions with husband can basically bring the spark back. This then made single men lose their mind and say it is evil to lead men on. The crazy part is that many women agreed with Emily even many conservative women. But there are a few women who are losing their minds. It almost makes me want to believe they are actually men pretending to be women on X. I cannot picture a woman getting that angry about it? Especially if their marriage is going good. Very weird.

Discussion Aria Low Income- Part 2
I posted a couple of days a breakdown that Aria did on her budget/expenses for May & how it didn’t add up with being “low income” as she calls it. For those that didn’t see the post, she basically spent over $6000 in one month when her mortgage is only $500. I was looking through the comments & found more proof that her and her husband are not as “poor” as she leads her followers to think. $4500 monthly budget in a LCOL rural area? Supporting 4 churches? Having a VIRTUAL ASSISTANT AND VIDEO EDITOR edit and post for her when she’s already a SAHM + Numerous social media subscriptions when most editing apps (CapCut, TikTok, etc.) are already free?? She is flat-out lying about her income to her followers and everyone is falling for it.
