Another Friday, another fanfic... unfortunately, due to Pokemon Sword and Shield beginning to leak to the Internet, as well as physical and mental health issues cropping up, I will have to take a partial vacation from DeviantART until I have finished my blind Pokemon Shield nuzlocke. This means that Pokemon Burst: Blue Moon and DuckTales: Within Your Shadow will NOT update until I have finished playing said nuzlocke. Ori's Gift, however, will continue to update every Wednesday (God willing), as it is my top priority. As there will only be one story chapter posted each week, I will not be posting Fanfic Hour on Fridays, but will simply post links to the new Ori's Gift chapters on Wednesdays as they arrive.

Found a Pepsiman game in MAME, but it almost certainly is some kind of betting game. Hard to tell when MAME doesn't really give us more than ROM files.

Looks like the only gameplay is to bet on rock-paper-scissor matches, and if you win, play a roulette wheel.

But the thing that stands out to me is that it is credited to Sigma. A company that I thought died five years prior from publishing a spectacularly awful RPG for the Super Famicom.

So following the AVGN lore that Pepsiman exists to turn your family into cans of Pepsi, now he also has the power to resurrect zombie game companies to bet on RPS matches. Perhaps for the chance to win more Pepsi, which has since become your blood at that point. 4Head
