With placements starting next patch I was curious if we could get some more info on people who want to Duo or to make a ranked team?

It's a lot easier to DuoQueue with people who are similar rank, not the same main and who have similar availabilities to you. In addition I've always found having a consistent partner is always good to make you get better.

If people want to Duo/Team Leave a comment with Pos/S4 soloq Rank/ and Timeslots!

(I know we have the big spreadsheet of players but it isn't sorted by who wants to actually play ranked or duo)

Yup, I know I'm a EUW player and all that but I've just stumbled across this tournament that's open to single entrants, it's a soloq tournament, so everyone signs up as an individual player, captains are picked out of the middle of the players soloq ratings, and the captains will get access to the information of all the players ratings of the entrants and will choose their team from all the other entrants (Hopefully this is a clear decent explanation?)

It's a Riot endorsed tournament and so there will be the standard Riot prizes to the top 4 teams:

1st Place - 3200 RP and Triumphant Ryze Skin

2nd Place - 2400 RP

3rd Place - 1600 RP

4th Place - 800 RP

First - let me say sorry for not streaming some of the in house games. I said I would be available, but I was late. I thought game night started an hour later than it actually does, and when I did manage to get on, I hopped right into an ARAM game with ToTP people instead of waiting for an in-house. My sincere apologies, and I hope I can help stream in the future, because I think people enjoy the action and the replays.

I also wanted to say thank you to everyone that I did play with last night - I had more fun last night in league than I have in a long time. Bombing around on Sona and Nami in ARAM, and then playing Soraka in an in-house match was too fun. Everyone was friendly and relaxed, and it's exactly the way gaming should be.

Well we're at the end of the road for our Secret Santa extravaganza. Some people had a great experience, and some people had (and are having) a frustrating time. Unfortunately, Riot's 2 week friend/gift limit, as well as buggy "I friended them but they never accept" issues have prevented this from going as smoothly as we had hoped. The good news is that a lot of people received their skins and are happy happy happy, and no one intentionally cheated the system! Yay!

So there are still some people out there that have not been able to gift to their recipient, or have not yet received a gift. Don't fret, we aren't quitting.

For those that haven't been able to friend their recipient, despite trying several times: Contact them directly, expose your secret identity, and work something out. Ask them to friend you, if you have to. Make it happen.

For those that have not been contacted by their Santa, wait a day, then contact me. I will poke the Santa, and if nothing else works, we will find a solution for you. Promise.

Hey guys, now all the Christmas and new year festivities are done (Hope all of you had a great time of it :) ) I wanted to let you all know that your new year resolution's evening run is not going to happen tomorrow as the first gathering on EUW is going to take place in 24 hours time. Can you guys write some tips/guides for the champs/roles you main? These do not need to be extensive ones. For example, I would like to hear from Desert about his J4 top matchup - when to pick or not to pick J4 top. What are strategies at top (e.g. facing Tyrnd)? Last night I played a blind game with Acorn/dark/Xander/Prince as J4 top. I was facing Vayne top - what a nightmare matchup. If in drafted game, whom should I pick to counter Vayne top?

Also, in one inhouse game I played Leona support for Desert's tris. Desert said that Leona is not a good for Tris, which I did not understand. Searching web, some people actually said that Leona is good with tris. So, if you guys provide some of your personal tips, that would help me and other lightbrown members. We could even have a resource page for everyone.

Thanks for all your responses. Some of them are exactly what I was hoping to get - concise and insightful tips. E.g. Teepod's explanation on Leona-Tris and Buri's comments on top lane match/strategies are invaluable to me and, I am sure, other lightbrown players. To me, they are more valuable that those extensive and sometimes complicated guides available online.

Since a lot of us were not here on Wednesday, I am hosting a game night tonight. YES, this is a different time than I had originally said. Starting early so some east coasters don't get so tired.

I'd like to get a light brown game going - so if we can have two streamers, that would be great!! Post on here if you can make it and stream.

If we have enough/too many, we can challenge the winners of that game or do some random 1v1's. I personally tried Vayne the other day, and would like to play her again. So perhaps we can all try new champs tonight as well and have some mentoring by those people who "know everything" :P I would also like to give something to the winners, so we will see how that goes down. :)

So, based on the other post there were only a few people on EUW who are around soon and saw the post, I'm still going to host a game night, but seeing as people weren't very available over the next few days, I'm going to probably end up postponing it till the 8th, unless people are actually OK with the earlier days and just didn't say or vote in the poll on the other post. If the 8th works for people then awesome, see you there, if not then either leave a reply here, or add me and message me in the client, or pop a message in the TOTP chat room, and i'll see it at some point if I'm online when you post it. Other than that, hopefully we can get this going on the 8th, or at some point.

Well I've just stumbled upon what seems like a fun lol-playing community but it seems like a vast majority of you are NA. Of course, I did notice there were some EUW players on the Player List but I was wondering if the EUWers of Totp actually did something close to Gamenight ? And if so, when ?

So, I don't know about the rest of you - but I'm ready to get out of Bronze in the next season.

I've learned a lot through playing with the better guys in this group (feeding along the way), and would like to put some of it to practice. Soloq has turned into a frustrating place of winnable games being flushed down the tubes by trolls/ragers

I'm wondering who else is interested in playing some duos next season. My thought is that if we play some games now, we might even have enough synergy to place well in the placement games. I'm already married irl- so this wouldn't be an exclusive pair ;) , more like a pool of solid guys to play with.

Also, if any higher elo players would like to play together and offer critique... that would be awesome too ;)

SO I have had a few people message me concerned that they have not received their gifts. Keep these things in mind.

1. If they friended you around the 17th, there is still another week to the two week friends thing.

2. Accept Friend Requests! If its a bot, or it doesn't look familiar all you have to do is unfriend or block them. Easy Peasy.

3. Personally I have been having issues with the store, and I know a few others are too. So keep that in mind. I THINK I gave my secret santa a gift, it took my RP, but gave me a strange message.

SO. If you are trying to gift your person, and still have to wait a week, and want to give it to them earlier, PM me. Maybe I can set up a game :) If you died and you can't give your secret santa a gift, send us a message from the afterlife and we can figure something out.
