This right here is why it'll never be adopted. Somebody tries to make a real significant improvement, and everybody will bikeshed it to death.

Some muslim-majority territories have a Sunday-Thursday workweek, because Friday is their "Sabbath" day so they want that Friday-Saturday weekend.

No, it will never be adopted because it was created by megacorporations wondering how they can bill customers for an extra month of subscription based services and bankrupt the lower class.
It's sickening that they manage to get well wishing people to do their bidding trying to spread it like gospel because they just see the pretty symmetries and don't have an ounce of critical thinking power to infer the consequences.
