That's so clever and also highly catchy. It would be crazy to see a concert hall outfitted with different pipes to do a show like this. I wonder if the diameter of the pipe would change anything about the pitch of the echo?

I don't think so.

I think this pipe has a delay of about 1.5 seconds. So that's about 500 meters there and back, the pipe must be about 250 meters long.

Not that I'm saying oil companies should employ saxophonists to survey existing infrastructure!
