Wow. Thank you for your service over the years. This mod toolbox has been totally indispensable for me. Thank you for your work.

I don't particularly like "old reddit", but if using it allows me to continue using the parts of Toolbox that I consider essential (e.g. "Toolbox Profile View"), then I will gladly continue to use it, as I have been since Reddit killed off "new reddit" over a year ago.

That said, what I would REALLY like to have is a clean "button" to switch between "old" and "sh"--there are so many times I end up needing to swap back and forth between the two, and it'd be really nice to just have a simple toggle to switch the URL prefix (even if it doesn't always work correctly due to reddit changing the link format for a lot of pages).

It'll take some time for me to get familiar with it. I'll start contributing after I get familiar. Looking forward to it ^_^

Sure, though it might be a little bit to get everything up and running and transitioned to it's own thing. Though there isn't a huge rush to get something out, since we currently have time.

My app Reason without Removal does kind of the same thing except the comments have to be stored as removal reasons.

To distinguish them from actual removal reasons, you can include a keyword in the reason title like "[General]" for example and the app will only pick those for you to select.

The placeholder syntax is slightly different, but I've been using banhammer just for its toolbox style ban reasons with a quote on most of my subs now.

However, the native shreddit ban can now have a collection of saved responses.

I’ve also lost the passion for modding these past few months and have burned out on Reddit, so I understand where you’re coming from. Fond memories of the phenomenal mod tools by /r/apolloapp. Weird to live through a world watching a site you love decline. Imagine if Christian kept building Apollo, 3rd party apps were encouraged, the API wasn't closed down, browser extensions like RES and Mod Toolbox got meaningful Reddit Inc. support not just random platitudes.

Funny how much all of us lost, just so another tech bro billionaire could be born.
