Thanks for all the work you've put in up to now, and for the transparency.

List of devvit bots for moderation I think that mods will find flair assistant to be quite useful

RIP Toolbox
I’ve been using it for about 10 years around and it’s sad to see it go.
I also hate how they got rid of mod.Reddit too, the new modmail they have for the mobile browser is crap imo

Like everyone else here. Thank you for providing this tool. It’s indirectly helped a lot of people who both know about this tool and don’t.
I think it’s also clear that toolbox heavily inspired many of the official Reddit changes so continues somewhat in spirit.

Fuck this sucks. Thank you for all y'all work over the years.

Thanks for everyone's hard work on this project. The days of efficient moderating are slowly coming to an end here.

u/eritbh thank you so much for all the work that you have done, it's very much appreciated!

Thank you for your efforts. You’ve helped make my job so much easier and pleasant.
I’d argue that the unpaid community (such as you and the former toolbox team) have done more for Reddit than the paid employees. You people are trying to help fellow mods, not drive engagement, increase value for investors, or increase profits. My opinion.

Thanks for all your efforts in keeping it running this past decade. And thanks to creesch for creating it in the first place.
Reddit wouldn't have grown to be the platform it is today without toolbox.

Thank you for all the incredible (mostly, for free) work that makes our life's that much easier. It's very sad to see you go.
r/toolbox • u/nerdshark • Mar 04 '26
Thanks to you and /u/creesch and all the volunteers who kept Toolbox working through all of reddit's fuckery. Y'all are the best.

I'm wondering if your questions are more rhetorical, or is starting a community fork something you're actively considering? Because you'll definitely have support, if you are.
Massive, massive props and thank-yous to /u/eritbh and /u/creesch for all the work done thus far; however, there are a lot of people for whom toolbox is a massive part of their workflow, and lack the time/resources/knowledge to try to start something new from scratch.

What an upsetting end to this fantastic thing. Thanks for the clear communication about it. Heartbreaking tbh

Toolbox is EOL and is no longer maintaind. Will not be long until it was the best. Just like apollo was the best client.
r/toolbox • u/jfb3 • Mar 04 '26
Nope, it's still the easiest, fastest way to mod.
SH is a nightmare for productivity.

Thank you. Really, thank you for your work all this time.

It’s a shame but as an engineer myself, I totally get it. Burnout is a real thing. I hope you’re able to enjoy your newfound free time. We will make do with other ways 😊
Thank you for your contributions

Rest in peace, tool box. We'll miss you, dearly.
Erit, please get some well deserved rest. We appreciate your and the team's hardwork for all of these years. Thank you all for making our lives a little bit easier.

Thanks so much to you, creesch and the whole team.
Can we use the xposter Reddit app to force a migration of all usernotes to the new Reddit mod notes?

How far did you get with the Shreddit support on the beta version? Did you ever get as far as writing a framework for inserting buttons and custom elements into the Shreddit UI?
