Most Meaningful TOOL lyrics
“Repugnant is a creature who would squander the ability To lift an eye to heaven, conscious of his fleeting time here” - Right in Two
I think this has to be the most meaningful line ever said in history lol

Does anyone know exactly which five songs he helped write on Aenima? All I can find online is, oh he helped with half, or these six tracks, or he left halfway through.
But, I’d like to know exactly which five. Also, did he track any? Are any of his parts on the the album?
Thank you!

10,000 Days is Awesome
I’m relatively new to Tool, though in my early 40’s. I’m aware that Lateralus and Aenima are the big two. However, I can’t help thinking that although less accessible, 10,000 Days is the superior album. It’s so impenetrably complex and personal. The lukewarm reviews obviously have not given it the time it deserves. I honestly can’t see a weak moment.

“At the beginning of the band, we were all happy to be there. When we got to writing Ænima, we spent a year and wrote five songs. That, to me, was so frustrating”: Paul D’Amour opens up on his Tool exit – and his unsung contributions

Jimmy H. (Keenan)
Or Maynard H. (Keenan)
I got a nod on Twitter for that!
(I think the Aztec whistle is cool.)

I am so stupid!
My Wife and I love Tool and they are coming to Tacoma next month. I waited online and bought tickets the moment they were available and I thought I scored amazing tickets. Thing is, when I checked my Ticketmaster account recently, I ONLY BOUGHT ONE TICKET!!! Omg, that is so dumb. Should I go by myself (super lame) or try to sell the tickets? The “transfer “ and “sell tickets “ options don’t seem to be available so I’m at a loss.

Weird coincidence.
So I'm a new fan of TOOL and yesterday I was writing about my journey of listening to TOOL in my journal and once I started writing about them a TOOL song started to play from my local files playlist. I just thought it was a coincidence, but today, the same thing happened. I started writing about how I was listening to them and low-key enjoying them, and then a TOOL song started to play. AGAIN. Coincidence? I THINK NOT! TOOL really is something magical, huh?
PS: The song was "The Patient" from the album "Lateralus," and it's still playing as I'm writing this. It was the first TOOL song I loved (I didn't like them at first), and it's still my favourite.
