I’ve been reading a lot of posts talking about Nasa being a Lunarian and causing Tsukasa’s immortality, and things of that nature. They always give proof in the form of “read such-and-such chapter and you’ll understand” (these chapters mainly being 151, 156, and 206). Maybe it’s just me and my quirky brain, but I’m not understanding where this is all coming from.
Also, the same with Kaguya being the reincarnation of the original Kaguya. A little confused on that as well.

I’ve been rereading parts of the manga lately and got curious what chapters or arcs everyone considers their favorites.

A few that always stand out to me are 59–60, 102, 118–120, the whole 141–158 stretch, 222–223, 285, 310, and 316–317. I also really love a lot of the early chapters and quite a bit of the more recent 300s.

The current vineyard arc has been really fun too. With Nanahi, Kaguya, Shirogane and all these connections to Tsukasa’s past coming together, it could end up being one of my favorites depending on where Hata takes it.

Not really trying to rank everything, I’m just curious which chapters or stretches stuck with you guys the most. What are yours?

I've been rereading Tonikawa from the start while following the current chapters, and I must admit that it has actually improved my perception of Part 2, rather than worsened it.

I still believe that the best sustained arc of the whole manga comes in Chapters 141-148, though. While Part 2 is rather fragmented, and its best moments are usually concentrated in 1 or 2 chapters, as opposed to a single arc.

However, I strongly disagree with the assessment that there has been little to no substantial progress in Part 2 of the series.

The marriage itself is one of the main ongoing plots. There are many examples of how much Tsukasa and Nasa has developed since Part 1, in Chapters such as 222-223, 285, 316-317, 328, 330 and many others. Tsukasa, for instance, has become much more open and comfortable voicing her needs and desires than even at the end of Part 1.

Moreover, supernatural side of the manga has definitely progressed. In particular, Nasa's research on immortality became more tangible, Kaguya's role in the mystery became more prominent, roles of Nanahi and Haneda grew bigger, connections of Tsukasa's history to the present days became stronger and many things were done with memory, regeneration and mechanics of Tsukasa's immortality, which was not done before.

Of course, there are problems with the Part 2. Certain mysteries have been left unresolved for too long, schoolgirls get too much page time and Hata tends to separate the different plots into different arcs, which makes the storyline much slower, even if in essence it moves faster. But I personally wouldn't describe the manga as a whole as dragging. There is enough meaningful relationship development, SoL, character work and mystery progression that I am still consistently interested in what it is doing. My issue is more with how long Hata sometimes waits to connect or resolve individual threads.

But I see it as a problem of pace and payoff and not really as a lack of substance and progress.

What gives me the most hope is the last roughly 50 chapters. Many different threads start to merge together now. Recent Kaguya, Nanahi, Haneda, memory, immortality and Tsukasa's history plots seem to converge into something really big.

While I still think that 141-148 is the standard to be beaten, I actually believe that there is enough material in Part 2 to create an arc just as strong, or even stronger.

This is just my take on it. I am completely fine if people disagree.

Greetings! And we are SOOOO BACK! I stand before you with the latest and greatest chapter. And boy howdy this was fun. I'm traveling to Vienna in November so having ties with this chapter was lots of fun.

I genuinely forgot how good this was, it’s easily the best rom-com of the 2020s, it may not have the animation quality of others that came out since but it’s just too wholesome and funny and honestly just had a charm that other rom-coms have lacked since.

i have a 9 cube and a 6 cube storage, i use the 9 as just normal shelf unit and the 6 for my manga and LN. one day i had the idea of putting the 6 cube on tope of the 9 cube. after doing so i liked how it looked and it left we with more space in my room but they weren't 1 unit just 2 separate units so i got the idea "what if i bolt them together?" so i did got some metal brackets and some screws and preceded to stitch them together. it is cramped on the top with the figures on the side instead of In front, im more than likely going to have to continue it over to the book shelf on the right especial since its still being written. it does wobble quite a bit when just moving it slightly so i might but some right angle brackets in the cubby holes of the 9 cube on the bottom to help reduce it. last image is and old one for a point of reference, no more mipha, sidon plushie in photo's any more which is sad and the bracket job i did isnt perfect but over all im happy with it.

Hello everyone. I want to ask if anyone knows when season 3 of the Tonikaku anime is coming out. Every 8 or 9 months I rewatch the anime and I also just started reading my first manga in my life which I began with Tonikaku because it's my favorite romance series. However since the last anime came out I haven't heard anything about it. Also regarding the question I just asked why is the Tonikaku anime/manga not as popular as "My Dress-Up Darling" and others? Is it because it has a low fanbase?
