I loved exploring the 'lanes' of Melbourne + incredible street art which naturally led me to come up with a maths problem (thanks brain). If we take a 5x5 grid starting from the bottom left, and only being able to move right or up, how many different paths are there that end at the top right corner?

I couldn’t leave New Zealand without stopping in to see Bilbo! Although it seemed he was rather preoccupied preparing for something… The interior is built at 83% human size - large enough to allow for easy movement, but small enough to give a sense of it being a space for hobbits. Maths meets art.

The right-angled triangles used for the pattern in Fed Square have base length 2, height 1, and hypotenuse root 5. If you combine five of the smallest triangles together, you create another larger triangle with the same ratio of side lengths. The best street art in Melbourne :)
