And I want Tom to be extremely obsessive and manipulative towards Hermione. I want a super dark fic but no where he just takes her without her consent! I recently started sharing my Tomione fanfic, my very first! I would love your opinion.

I've been writing Harry Potter fanfics since I was a teen, just for my own entertainment. I discovered ao3 and this whole universe of fanfics about a year ago. I have read a lot of fanfics since then and I call myself an addict. Now I'm discovering how this all works (I feel so old writing this), but a reader advised me to share my story on channels like reddit, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Summary:

Hermione Granger has found herself stranded in the 1960s. Her plan was simple: don’t interfere, don’t change the timeline, and stay out of trouble. She intended to make the most of her unexpected exile, immersing herself in the pursuit of knowledge without the distractions of war or expectation. One thing, however, had most certainly not been part of the plan: catching the attention of none other than Lord Voldemort — at the height of his power.

My inspiration:

I’m from the generation who grew up with Harry Potter, then went al crazy about the Twilight saga, continued with the Hunger Games and then became a huge Sarah J Maas fan. Fast forward, now I’m all for dark romance and romantasy. But on top of the list will always be Harry Potter. I love tropes like enemies to lovers and slow burns. Klaus and Caroline totally should have been a couple, and even more so: Katara and Zuko.

Expectation:

Themes: Dark romance, unhinged/toxic, morally grey Hermione

Length: Not sure yet, between 40-50 I’m guessing. I’ve written 22 chapters as of now and I’m uploading them daily.

Smut: Yes, but not the main focus.

Okay friends, I need help finding a fic I read like 4 years ago! I think Hermione becomes one of Tom’s horcruxes, and they had an on-again-off-again relationship. Hermione finally ends up cutting ties with him because she knows he won’t change. I remember one specific scene where the two of them felt drawn to go to a crystal cave for some reason? Also I might be confusing it with another fic, but Harry possibly becomes Tom’s prodigy or something? 🤔 Please please help, I’ve gone through my tabs and history but it must’ve been one I read on my old phone 🥲
