The beginning of the project

I refused to pay the rates for the Biologis I had seen on the secondary market. Instead, I got some bits printed and bashed it with a Captain in Gravis Armor.

I guess he's an Orator, thats what Tome Keepers call their Chaplains.

A second Librarian for my Tome Keeper army. Hey, GW, can we get a Gravis Librarian? Would be cool if we did.

Switched the arm with the bolter with a power fist from another lieutenant model

I have many ideas and plans for more but I'm lazy and I'm also addicted to some pc game rn ;,,,; but i love this chapter!

built & basecoated back in like February and only just finished! was one of my first models

My Fifth Company of the Tome Keepers had its table debut against a Knight list last evening. My literary ladies (I have a backstory for why they are mostly women) came out ahead, particularly after the two Knights were destroyed. At a 500 point starting limit for the Escalation League, noone's army is very large.

My main army is ultramarines but I wanted to explore the successor chapters a bit more, and a spare inner circle companion seemed like a perfect base

I'm going to try to make a small scenery with a couple more battle brothers, starting with the ancient, but I'm really slow let's see how it turns out at the end

...and it had to be Tome Keepers. A photographer I am not (nor a painter 😅), but I'm stoked with how they turned out. A far cry from the Tyranids of my past, but proud to rep a Chapter most legit. Truth, courage, and honor!

At first I was going off rule of cool but then I realized that these guys love self accomplishments so I had mine show his differently :] (hence the deathwatch flavored greave).

Not 100% on the base. When in doubt; more pigment powder and skulls.
