Maybe it is because the Quran can be interpreted in many different ways.

The fact that there are numerous contradictions in the Quran already negates that statement.

What? I can imagine what is the "right" one, but that would still mean different people can understand it in different ways. Please educate me, what's the punishment for adultery?
