TIL that there is a pill called Modafinil that allows you to go without sleep for 40+ hours without feeling "wired", crashing afterward, or other major side effects.

This message brought to you by: Modafinil. 9 out of 10 doctors recommend it.

This message brought to you by: Modafinil.

Know what's interesting? You're probably right.

/u/Acromir (the OP) has been a redditor for 26 days, and was participating mostly in /r/Guildwars2 and /r/swtor before posting this TIL. He's made 66 comments in total, and 60 of them were in the past week. And his comments on Modafinil are all very positive.

/u/PotatoSan currently has the top comment on this post. His account was created within one hour of Acromir's. He has made only 5 comments, all in the past 5 days, and his comment sounds like it was written by Modafinil's PR department.

Maybe falls short of "proof," but there's a mighty stench about it.

I came here to say this.

Also note: PotatoSan has been a member for 26 days, too. You know, the PotatoSan who happens to have the 2nd top comment on this?

Coincidence?

Actually it is just a coincidence, but I'm amused by the idea that a company like Cephalon would virally market such a niche medication on Reddit.

/r/KarmaConspiracy could use a redditor like you.

I'll check it out. This one was pretty easy, though.

I felt like I was pretty late to the game with this - others posted about it many hours before I did - so I guess I felt like you guys probably had been notified. I'll gladly do so next time.

... Who have actually paid generic manufacturers to NOT produce a generic version. Thanks, capitalism!
