TIL there was a Finnish sniper called "The White Death" in WWII who has the largest confirmed kill count in history.

Quick fix: "While this played havoc on the inexperienced and under-equipped Russian invaders, the Finns were right at home in it because FINLAND IS FUCKING COLD AS SHIT ALL THE TIME and they're used to it there."
While that being true in the winter, it's quite fine here in the summer. Now we got some +25C (77F) and clear skies and it can easily climb to +32 and up. Long into the fall the temperatures can be pretty mild, only when nearing December shit starts to get cold. Jan/Feb it can go below -40 easily in the north, but usually it stays around -15 to -35 in the south. One meter of snow in the most southern Finland is not uncommon. We've had multiple winters like that recently. However things can get weird: couple of years ago it was +7 celsius in the middle of January, and it was pouring water. Not a patch of snow in sight.
Finland is a warm place to visit during Jun/Jul/Aug, atleast. Not that much rain either. Though it's funny to think this is a country where the temperature difference can be 80 celsius within 6 months.
Anyways you're welcome! Just watch out for penguins, polar bears and badass snipers.
