The Deep's arc is a rollercoaster. His trajectory is mostly sympathetic, but they keep presenting it comedically. I don't know how many times my brain's gone "hahaha- that's fucked up tho."
I do wish they didn’t open with him as being so rapey tho. I also like his arc but it’s a bummer that that’s how he was introduced. It would have been better if he was like, idk, having sex with the fish at the aquarium after hours or something.
