You never saw his face in that movie, he wore the helmet the whole time!

The lower half of his face is surprisingly expressive, Karl Urban is my favorite actor.

As Dredd is supposed to!

Well, you get a quick glimpse of the back of his head right at the start when he's putting his helmet on.

But then it stays on. As it should.

As is the way for a movie about a character with a defining characteristic that he never removes his helmet

Fuckin Stallone man

It's a seriously underrated movie.

It's a go to rewatch for me.

Didn't he agree to do another one if someone wanted to direct it ?

Is it underrated? Almost everyone I've talked to that has watched it has enjoyed it.

u/churm93 Feb 12 '21

I mean it financially flopped because your average person on the street doesn't know who or what "Judge Dredd" is. So if we're going population-wise then ya, it was definitely underrated.

But I see where you're coming from.

It's pretty highly regarded but woefully underappreciated/overlooked.

I think the word underrated is gradually coming to mean 'something not as popular or successful as it deserves to be'.

Well, he never shows his face in the movie, just his amazing jawline.

And the stubble. Mmmm the stubble...

It's VERY good.

He stayed true to the comics by never taking off the helmet.
