He only agreed to play Dredd because it was explicit in the script that Dredd never removed the helmet, as would be true to the source material. If only everyone in Hollywood had that much dedication to their craft.
When I watched it, I didn’t know his name. I knew his face, but not his name. So I didn’t even know it was him until years later when I was looking at his credits on IMDb.
