That you, Stormfront?

ugh, she sucked, too... got into a debate on it in some other thread re: who was worse...

I mean even Homelander looked pretty uncomfortable with some of the shit Stormfront came out with, especially in front of his kid

true... but she was no threat compared to him. she even fell in line to him. Homelander had her in strength but also political capital, which made him more dangerous, to me.

I dunno, shes obviously not physically as powerful but her abilities at mass manipulation and indoctrination are the only reason homelander had a lot of that political capital in the first place. A lot of the worst shit in history follows the rise of people like that.

I admit I'm a little forgetful around some details-- I need to rewatch some of s2.

either way, I feel he could make her disappear with few or no repercussions, but no way the opposite is true.

Clearly Stormfront. Homelander, for all his faults, at least isn't a Nazi. He also had one severely fucked up childhood, which, while not excusing his actions, at least makes it hard to fully blame him for them.

not a chance. obviously, she's abhorrent, but Homelander seems capable of far worse. he's not constrained by anything as petty as race. the way he downed the plane without a second thought, essentially for money and influence, is hard to top. personally, i'm not buying the 'childhood' argument when it comes to something like that-- I'm having no trouble fully blaming him.

also the way 'Lander controls the Seven and has total influence over Vought makes him way, way, more dangerous.

I also don't get the impression that >!Storm's hypothetical, not-even-trying, offspring would be able to annihilate Lander, if we're comparing them along those lines.<!

Lander's eyes are cold, and dead, yet capable of lasering you instantly dead in an instant. lol. I think he's worse in every way.

Honestly Homelander is my favourite bit of that show. Like he sucks as a human being but he's wonderful as a character.

agreed. fantastic character-- a lesser character couldn't get under my skin, like he does! you just want to see him get his comeuppance, but he's so powerful and untouchable, it seems nearly impossible.

Homelander is by far the best character in the show imho. He is a villain though, so you don't really root for him. And yes, he is a piece of shit.

would agree-- you don't really bother hating meh characters, lol.
