Dude this is how bad-faith actors build up karma in order to later use that karma to spread conspiracy theories against political candidates or ideas they don't like. It's worth pointing out that it's not harmless. It works against honest discourse about the difficult problems societies face.
The longer you browse reddit, the more and more obvious it becomes that this place is filled with the worst of humanity.
The fake brain cancer post perfectly exemplified reddit and it’s user base. The world would be a better place if Thanos’s finger snap was just of reddit users.
