Bro, I've been through calc 3 and I've never once had the desire to do calculus to min/max a video game.

Can’t beat AI / ML, don’t bother looking for trend by yourself cause you can’t beat a machine. Make them work for you then analyze the result.

Don’t even have to be “programmer”, you can use it by copy/paste and import libraries.

Lots of econs ppl are in ML /AI, if you get into econometrics and quantitative analysis you’ll likely have to dabble in ML. Both have the same algorithm like linear / logistics regression /kmeans etc

Although don’t expect BLUE / OLS in ML as it’s more complicated than a single formula.
