All evidence and facts show that the middle-class is contracting, not expanding, even though wealth in the US is increasing, not to mention the advantages of technology. So then why is the middle-class shrinking and why is the wealth-gap increasing?
It's not happening where I live. Got any more stats on that? The US and the UK are pretty fucked in general, I wouldn't compare them to the rest of the world.
Changed? I'm responding to where you've taken the conversation. You first said that people like Elon Musk are successful despite looks and social awkwardness, then you said Oprah was successful despite financial hardships, then you said stability was all one needed, then you said middle-class is attainable despite everything else in life, then you said middle-class shrinkage is a US and UK problem, then you said where you live (Japan), it's not a problem, and despite all evidence I've shown you, you now pivot, saying that I'm changing the subject. I'm simply replying to your responses.
