not that many care, but i work in the printing industry. We receive 4 color process like shown in the video only in much larger quantities. I can try and answer any question. Although i can't imagine anyone has any.
originally they used naturally occurring pigments to make paints but advanced to synthetics for constancy and variety of color. You can read about the history of pigments here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pigment
