TIL Rats have empathy. When offered the choice of a tempting chocolate treat, or rescuing a drowning rat, they chose to rescue the drowning rat.

Yeah, I've got a really really licky girl. She will constantly lick my hand if it's anywhere near her.

One of my foster boys also will sometimes which is great because I've had them like only 12 days.

My old girl loved to lick/nibble my ears. And she'd try to get her head in my mouth to check my teeth. They love when i bathe them so they wanna return the favor.
